"You're going to be okay" sandy said
"I've just never stood up to her before like that" i say
"Well she can't hurt you now, we all have court on Monday and if you fight hard enough we can get joint custody with Debby instead of with francine." sandy said
"I'm just glad Debby adopted me so she is an option of someone I get to live with" I say
"However court goes tomorrow, you always have a home here, and we love you so much" Carl says
"now sleep tight baby, we have a big day tomorrow" sandy says
Then both sandy and carl both kissed me on the cheek and left my room.

We're in the court room,
"Now miss. amber majors, why would you like to be in joint custody of Debby majors and sandy and Carl majors?" The judge said
"Because Debby has always been more of a mom to me than francine ever has been, francine has kept too many things secret from me and has been to manipulative for me to be able to trust her or for me to live with her, I don't feel safe in just a home that's just us too, but I feel safe with Debby and Mason and I don't want them to not be in my life's anymore just because of my mom, I mean Debby did adopt me, so she is a parent to me, and I want to live with my dad because so much of my life I was kept Away from him and I would like to make up for lost time and I've been staying with him the last 3 weeks and things have been good, he has proven he can take care of me, he got me a new phone and a new car to replace what francine got for me and if I get a choice in the matter these are the places I want to live" I say.

"Okay we are going to have a recess and then once we are done we will announce where amber majors is going to live" says the judge

Then I walked from the podium over to Debby and Mason and Carl and sandy.
"I'm really happy you still want me" I say to Debby
"You're my daughter, no matter what, you're the best thing to come out of being with francine, your room seems weird without you in it anymore" Debby says.

"Okay and as for the case of custody for amber majors, she will be living with her dad and step mother during the week, and will be staying with her adoptive mom Debby on weekends and holidays, and she will stay with her biological mom 1 weekend out of the month, if I have any reports of these rules not being followed I will call you all to court again and change this completely to whoever isn't following the rules. courts dismissed" the judge said

"You will be at my house at 9 o clock on friday night, and won't leave until that following monday, if you are a second late I'm calling the court and I'm going to get us to do this again, and you will follow my rules until you're 18, or I will make your life a living hell, you got me little girl?" Francine says
"Fine, I won't be late" I say
"Nobody can save you when you're at my house" francine says

'Now I'm in my room at carl and Sandy's house
"No evan you should've heard her at court yesterday! She threatened me, and said nobody can save me while I'm at her house" I say
"Babe, she is your mom, she won't hurt you, I promise" evan says
"How can you promise something like that" I say
"Because if something bad is happening, just text me and I'll be right there" evan says
"I just can't believe how crazy life has been getting lately" I say
"I know. but you're in a better house now, and you can still get to crash at Debby's house" evan says
