Chapter 12

This chapter will be in Evans POV

"evan it's Christmas eve, shouldn't you go home and be with your family?" Carl says
"Amber is the only family I want or need" I say
"Okay, well I brought you the gift she made for you" carl says
Then he handed me the box and left the hospital room.
I'm just sitting in the same chair, I have been for 3 days.
I haven't ate in 3 days
I haven't slept in 3 days
3 days ago was the worst day of my life.
I'm looking at the hospital bed, I'm seeing Amber here in this coma, that I put her in, I did this to her, I already lost my sister, I can't loose Amber also.
I don't know how I managed to escape that car ride completely unharmed and now Amber is in a coma, she has a broken arm and she has a few scratches on her face and crushed ribs.
I look around her room and I see all the stuff that people have brought for her, Whitney of course brought the biggest arrangements of flowers, her boss at the pet shop brought her some dog wood flowers (clever) and my mom has been taking care of amber since she is a nurse.
I then looked at the gift and a tear formed in my eye
This isn't how I wanted our first Christmas to be.
I saw an envelope with my name on it on the outside of the package so I open it and the letter says in this cute hand writing

Dear evan,
First off, I love you more than you will ever know, I'm so in love with you and I'll never be able to thank you enough for helping me get out of my shell, with you, you've completely helped me turn my life around for the better, you've given me so much love that I didn't know it's possible to love a person so much, you're truly the best thing that's ever happened to me, I'm also scared but excited for our future, I never see myself with anyone but you, but I'm rambling on, I love you my prince, merry Christmas,

Then I started to bawl my eyes out, I love this girl so fucking much and I hurt her, she can't even spend her first Christmas with her dad because of me, I don't deserve her love, I'll never be able to deserve it, she is completely above me and she has it all wrong, and I'm scared that I'll never be able to tell her how sorry I am for all this.
I then opened the gift and it's a fucking tattoo machine, like a brand new one, and she got me a FUCKTON of ink, I can't believe it, she is truly the best girlfriend ever and I don't deserve her.
As I was crying I heard someone walk in.
I then see its my mom
"Evan go home" she says
"I can't leave her side" I say
"Evan, I can't keep bending the rules for you, besides your grandma says one of your friends are at the house waiting on you" Shelly says
"Okay I'll go, bye mom" I say
Then I stormed out of the room, I had my gift in hand and made it out to my car,
I can't stop listening to there, there by the wonder years, it's the first song I ever sang with Amber or played in the car with her, it always reminded me of her.

I pulled into my driveway and I see cara sitting by her car.
I got out of my truck and she approaches me.
"Not today satan" I say to her
"Fuck you evan, I've been worried sick about you, but you won't return any of my phone calls or texts" cara says
"Do you not even know what happened?" I say
"Yes I do" cara says
Then she grabbed my face and put a huge kiss on it
I pulled away
"Stop it" I say
"That's not what you were saying last week, you were begging me not to stop" cara says
"That was one time" I say
"Four separate times, once twice in one day" cara says then winks
"You know before this happened I was going to break this off, because I feel bad doing this to amber, we truly love each other" I say
"Really, so you found your love for her in the bottom of my pussy huh?" Cara says
"Quit being gross" I say
"I'm pregnant" cara says
"And you're also a liar" I say
"I'm serious evan, and it's yours" cara says
"How are you so sure?" I say
"Well it is between you or Patrick dunsburg" cara says
