"so on Halloween it'll be a month since you started your birth control?" Evan says
"Yes, next friday" I say
"So what are we being for Halloween?" Evan says
"We?" I say with a smile
"Yeah, we need a quirky, matching couple costume that we can remember our first holiday together" evan says
"Sometimes I think you're the girl evan" I say
"Well I'm just a sentimental guy, so what should we do?" He says
"Well, what about Minnie and Mickey Mouse?" I say
"Ahhh, we need more clever" evan says
"Pam and Jim from the office?" I say
"Closer, but we are better than that" evan says
"Nothing is better than jim and Pam!" I say
"Okay I got the perfect idea!" Evan says
"What" I say
"Well since you like video games so much, and you're a cute blonde, what about you be princess peach, and I can be mario" evan says
"That is so fucking perfect" I say
"Let's go get some costumes" evan says
"Alright, let's go to the thrift store" I say

"This pink dress is completely perfect for it" I say as I'm holding up a pink dress with poofy sleeves and it has gold accents and its older, it looks like an 80s prom dress but I absolutely loved it
Then Evan kept searching all of the racks and he finally found a pair of overalls and an old hat that he is just going to use a hot glue gun to put an m on It.
"Babe I found the final piece to your costume" evan says
"what is it?" I say
Then he put a little gold tiara on my head.
"I love it" I say
Then we went to the registrar to ring up our stuff, and then left the store
"Want to go walk in the park?" Evan says
"Sure babe" I say.

It was a nice day, finally turning into fall time.
Evan and I were just walking in the park hand in hand and having a nice chat
"So what are our plans for Halloween" evan says
"You don't want any say in what we do?" I say
"I picked the costumes, you pick what we do" he says
"Well, what About we go to a Halloween show, then we can smoke all night and have a sleepover in the tree house like we always talk about" I say
"That's the perfect plan babe" Evan says then he kissed me on the cheek.
"I'm excited for tomorrow" I say
"What's tomorrow?" Evan says
"I'm finally getting my braces off" I say
"That's awesome!" evan says
"Do you not like my braces?" I say
"They just age you a bit, make you look younger, it'll just be nice to see you with an even better smile" evan says
"What do you not like about me?" I say
"That you ask questions like that" evan said then smirked
"No I'm serious" I say to him
"That's a stupid questions, I don't like things about you that you can't change" evan said
"Like what?" I say
"Like the fact that I can't wake up next to you everyday, or the fact that it took me 18 years of my life to meet you, I don't know just stupid things like that" Evan says
"Is there ever a time you're not romantic?" I say
"Well, special girls make me feel this way, my sister was always a romantic, she told me a lot of lessons about valuing women, she was really wise but a lost soul, you know, since she was 22 and diagnosed with cancer, she started living her life on edge, she was incredibly in love with a man who left her when she needed him most, she taught me weirdly enough what it's like to love someone, I don't know, you probably don't want to hear all this" evan said then looked at me with sad eyes
"No, I love hearing about your sister, she sounds incredible" I say
"She was an incredible person, but she loved this man up until the day he died, and he loved her too, he told me so at the funeral, he just didn't think he could be the strong enough man for her to watch her be completely destroyed, even tho I think that if he would've stayed with her, she would've been stronger and would have fought harder for her life." he says
"So do you pass blame for the guy?" I say
"No, if anything I feel sorry for him, he has to live with the fact of what he did for his whole life, but really life went to shit whenever she died, not just for the fact that my big sister died, and she is the best life coach I'll ever have in life, but because with the Grief of a dead daughter it made my mom and dad fall apart, my dad kept cheating and my mom became encouraged to find the cure for cancer, so now she is in medical school. the relationship you have with Mason reminds me of my sister and I, a guy truly needs his older sister in life" evan says
"I'm going to hold mase whenever I get home" I say
"There isn't anything in this world I wouldn't do to hold my sister again" evan said then he started to cry
I've never seen evan cry before, but even now he looked so lovely, his blue eyes looked like the ocean was pouring out of his eyes
I then went over to him and held him, in the middle of the park and everyone was looking at us but we didn't care
He then held onto me tighter than he ever has before.
Then he pulled away
"Let's continue this walk, okay?" Evan says
"Sure babe" I say
Then Evan grabbed my hand and we continued our walk around the park
"So guess what mase told me?" I say
"What" evan says
"He told me that Mindy is pregnant" I said
"That's why" evan says
"Why what" I say
"Why you got the birth control, well among other reasons like you can't resist how I'm so sexy, but anyways, I can't believe Mindy is pregnant" he says
"I know, I'm going to be a aunt" I say
"What are they going to do? Does your moms know" evan says
"Well, they don't know, well to my knowledge they don't know, we haven't had a family decision about it yet, but He did start working at his dads hardware store for some extra money, so that's his first step I guess into fatherhood" I say
"Are your moms going to flip shit?" Evan says
"Well in mase's words he says that his life won't change much, his dad would pay the child support for him, if there is any for him to pay, and he can still play football and stuff so he can still get into college, so he doesn't think they will, I just think he will get a big lecture, Debby isn't much of a mom to punish him, francine was the punishing mom" I say
"do you like Debby more than francine?" Evan says
"Well I've kind of always resenting Mason for being the better looking sibling, and how he is so smart and so talented, and I'm very mediocre and not talented so I kind of wished that Debby was my mom, I know it's stupid but that's how I felt growing up" I say
"That's not stupid, but I know how it is to not be the star sibling, they loved my sister, she was class president, and was super into law, she wanted to be a lawyer, she had to drop out of college, when her cancer got real bad, but she was always smarter, and she looked like our dad, who was always deemed the better looking parent, we both had dark hair but she just was more of a looker than i, she also made friends faster and didn't do drugs and I looked up to her, like Mason looks up to you, just nobody will ever understand why someone like her could loose her life so young, when she had such a life to live, I'm sorry amber, but I can't talk about this anymore" evan said
"It's no problem, we can stop this walk anytime you need too" I say
"Okay, but I appreciate that we can talk to each other like this, I'm glad I have someone I can be serious with" evan said
"I'm glad I can tell you anything evan" I say
Then Evan grabbed my face and gave me a big smooch.
" I just have to say something to you" I say
then he looked deep into my eyes
"Yes amber" he says
"I literally don't know how you can be so good looking, I just think you're the best looking guy I've ever seen" i said
"Well amber, braces or not, I completely find you super attractive as well, I've never felt more attraction to another person before, I can't wait to fuck your brains out on Halloween night my princess peach" evan said then he gave me another kiss.
"I'm really excited" I said to him.
