"Alright, the last step is to sprinkle some powdered sugar on top and then…" Trey said pulling the said ingredient nearby.

""We’re done~!!"" Grim and Ace chorused.

"Finally~!" Asmodeus cheered.

"Hooray…" Deuce cheered gloomily.

"Did something happen to this guy when you went shopping?" Ace asked curiously.

"Let the guy be for a while. The shock from the chicks was too much for him to handle." Lucian plainly told Ace who looked at Deuce weirdly.

"What in the world did I believe in for 16 years…?" Deuce mumbled to himself still as depressed as he was earlier.

"Who knew that making desserts would take this long? I’m so tired…" Ace grumbled out slouching in posture to show that he meant what he said.

"Nice work~ ♪ Did you finish the tarts? The decoration looks so cute~!" Cater entered the kitchen happily checking on the Sweets.

Lucian waved at Cater who waved back rather happily.

"It’s totally ‘grammable! Let me take a pic~" Cater said as he took out his phone and took pictures of the tart in different angles.

"AH! Where were you all this time?" Ace seems surprised with Cater's sudden appearance.

"I came to check on my cute little juniors ‘cause you were doing your best~ Ahaha, you look dead tired!" Cater explained as he laugh as cheerful as always, but something is wrong that Lucian can't seem to pick up.

"Doing things you’re not used to can be tiring. In any case, sweets are the solution for a weary body." Trey told the tired students.

While they were all busy having idle talk, Lucian gestured for Sebastian to turn back into an owl as he doesn't want to have a taste of the tart.

One thing that hasn't changed about the demon, is his love for cats!

Explains why he keeps looking at
Grim from time to time, probably also waiting for the cat to make trouble so he could come swooping in claiming to punish the cat in Lucian's stead, but will instead squish the cat and play with him whether Grim likes it or not.

"Have some of our freshly made marron tart." Trey offered to the teens who looked happy to the offer as they accept immediately.

"You only came here to help us with the tasting, huh, Cater-senpai?" Ace pointed out to Cater who sweatdrop at his claim.

"Now, now~ Let’s all just enjoy it~" Cater didn't answer Ace's question and told them to enjoy the tart instead.

"Whoa…! It smells so sweet and good~! The chestnuts on top are so smooth, and the cream is so fluffy! I’m gonna dig in~!" Grim happily explained what he smell about the tart.

"It looks very edible, unlike someone's baking and cooking skills." Leviathan taunted Asmodeus with an innocent face.

"You..~! Stop insulting my skills dear brother~~ it hurts to know that my brother thinks of my cooking in that way..~" Asmodeus got an irk mark on his left temple in anger from the insult he received.
