"Mother, look I scored number one out of all the students in the school!" a little girl ran over to a woman showing off her medal and certificate.
Before the little girl could approach the woman, a little boy appeared and beat her to it.
"Mother! The teacher said, you should come go to the meeting..!" the little boy huffed out, he was feeling down that he got the worst grades out of all his classmates.
Even his older sister scored better than him!
This time, the woman looked at the young boy lovingly, "Don't be sad anymore, it's fine, no matter what you're still the best!" the woman praised the young boy who then smiled at his mother now forgetting about the little girl nearby.
Look... Look I scored higher than my brother.. Why aren't you paying me any attention?
The little girl clenched the certificate in her hand and ran away with tears streaming down her face.
"Stop ignoring me..!" the little girl cried out alone in her room throwing away the medal and certificate somewhere further from her.
5 years later
Standing nearby the mother and son duo is a 12 year old petite girl, the scene of her past kept repeating, like a recyclable memory.
I'm always better than my brother and little sister in any way, yet.. Why do you keep ignoring me..?!
Once more, the girl left the house in fury, she did her best! She's always the best! Why does her mother always pay attention to the airheaded younger ones?!
She didn't understand, she did nothing to deserve this so why?
She spent her whole 12 years of life learning everything and whatever she could get her hands on... And this is what happens?
Mindlessly walking down the side street, she was at lost.
She had to find out why she kept being ignored!
Having that thought the girl rushed back at home, though she highly doubt that she could still call this dreadful place a home.
(Meanwhile)
"Do you think we misplaced her?" a guy asked the woman beside him.
"I think so too... We can do nothing about it though, interrupting in the life of the humans is considered breaking one of the rules.." the woman replied with a frown as they watch the girl have a terrified expression on her face.
"Let's make it up to her with her next lives.. That's the best thing I could ever think of that doesn't go against the rules." the man suggested as the woman agreed.
(back to the Girl)
Taking a peek into the lounge room was a dreadful scene that she wished she never saw.
"Mother, why do you keep ignoring older sister?" the younger girl asked.
"That girl? She doesn't deserve it. She caused your fathers death, so keep ignoring that dreadful creature called 'older sister'." the woman gently told her children.
Why would she think that way?! The girl shook as she felt overwhelmed with what she witnessed.
She didn't do it! She never did anything, as far as she could remember the last time she ever saw her father was... When she was just 3 years old.
Feeling drained the girl silently left the lounge room and into her room, she needed time to rest.
