Your heart raced as you ran further and further into the woods. A werewolf hot on your heels, as you try and weave around the trees as much as possible. All you can hear is the blood rapidly pumping through your veins, and the sound of your heart daring you to keep moving.

Nothing had ever prepared you for the feeling you get each time you're practically staring into the eyes of death. You would think that you would be used to it by now but that feeling of dread never let you move past it. Something made you stop and hide behind a tree, you weren't exactly sure what made you stop but it just felt instinctual. Leaning on a large tree you tried to catch your breath quietly. Your gun was clutched tightly in your hand and your hair was covered in sweat and dirt from some of the falls you had taken.

You heard the leaves crunch from behind the tree and froze. You stayed on high alert listening for any sound of movement or even just a breath. When you heard the noises fade away further into the woods you came out of hiding and checked around you. You began your cautious trek back to the cabin where Sam and Dean were taking care of the other 2 werewolves. The closer you got the more you heard rustling and crunching from behind you. You readied your self, your gun ready to fire when needed. Swiftly you spun around just in time to see the monster charge at you. You tried to bring up your gun to shoot him but he knocked it from your hands.

His claws were beginning their descent into your torso. They cut through you like a hot knife through butter. You let out a scream as you could feel your ribs cracking under its weight. You reached towards your gun as best as you could in your predicament. Your attempts were unsuccessful, and you just became weaker as time went on. You weren't aware that the boys had rushed outside at the sound of your screams. All of a sudden you felt a weight drop onto your body and something pierce through your stomach. You just lied there in shock, with the silver blade you were about to use stood proudly in the middle of your body. The body had been pulled off of you and you yelled in pain as something snagged on the blade handle. Both boys rushed to your side in a panic, seeing you lying on the floor, a pool of blood steadily forming around your frame. You knew you weren't going to make it, and tears came to your eyes. You felt your once racing heart begin to slow far beyond the point of life sustainability.

You forced yourself to keep your eyes open just to see the boys one last time.

Dean and Sam were on their knees and Sam had your body cradled to his. You could feel your boyfriend's warmth as yours began to slip away from you.

Blood filled your mouth, escaping and staining your lips. Your eyes were barely held open as your ears strained to hear their words.

"(Y/N), no. no.no, please. Don't go. We've got this just stay awake Cas is coming. He's going to fix you just hold on baby." Sam said silently pleading for death not to take you from him.

"We won't let this happen to you. We can't, stay with us (y/n), you'll be fixed up soon ok. Just don't you dare close those pretty eyes." Dean said while kneeling next to you. This caused tears to roll down your face because you knew you couldn't hold on.

With everything in you, you spoke.

"Boys... I'm-I'm not gonna make it. We all know that. It's over for me, but it can't be for you. Keep fighting, and don't you dare stop loving because that's what you gave to me. A Winchesters love doesn't kill, it makes a person a person feel strong enough to fight for the rest of their lives. I love you, boys. I'm proud of us." You breathed out shakily.

"No. don't you dare say that, there is always a way it's not over" Sam cried. ?

"It's ok boys. I need you to know that it's ok."

Your voice got fainter. "(y/n), please..." dean begged while grabbing your hand in his.

"I was lucky enough to love you both. I was lucky enough to love you Sam Winchester. Promise me Sammy." you cough. He holds you tighter. He nods and kisses your head. "Please fall in love again," you said to him. His eyes widened but when he looked into your eyes he could see you fading fast. "I don't think I ever can," he whispered to you. He felt your body go limp in his arms and choked on a sob. He gathered you closer to him and cried. Dean pushed himself to his feet and turned away from the scene.

"Damn it! Why her?! She didn't deserve this you bastards!" he screamed into the night sky his breath fogged the air around him. Cas finally showed up at the scene and immediately felt sick at the sight. His best friend covered in blood lying dead in the arms of her lover. He didn't make it in time. Dean looked at him not with anger but with anguish. "She's gone Cas. Gone." he raised his voice.

"I didn't make it in time... it's all my fault," he said. His eyes began to water. "No Castiel it's not your fault. It's mine... I wasn't there for her." Sam spoke in brokenness, before pressing a kiss to your blood-stained lips.

---

Sam had grabbed white sheets and began to wrap your body carefully. Still, in death, he treated you so delicately. He hesitated before finishing wrapping your body in white.

He then picked you up walking outside and placing you down on the perfectly placed wood.

He then heard Dean speak up.

"(y/n), you were and are forever family. You fought for us and alongside us, and you loved unconditionally. No matter how stupid we could be, you never let us go it alone. We're proud of you. We love you." Dean's voice wavered as the flames got higher.

Sam just stood there with tears freely flowing.

"I always pictured you in white. But not like this. I always pictured heat and warmth between us but not like this. Not ever like this. " Sam spoke. The boys heard his words and it caused them to both break down in tears as well. Cas was supposed to be the one to give you away, and Dean also by your side walking you down the aisle. Now they'll never get the chance.

It was over. You were gone.
