THE GREAT HALL WAS FULL OF THE RAVENCLAW, HUFFLEPUFF, GRYFFINDOR AND SLYTHERIN STUDENTS AFTER NEWS OF BLACK BEING IN THE CASTLE SPREAD.
"The teachers and I need to conduct a thorough search of the castle," Professor Dumbledore told them as Professors McGonagall and Flitwick closed all doors into the hall. "I'm afraid that, for your own safety, you will have to spend the night here. I want the prefects to stand guard over the entrances to the hall and I am leaving the Head Boy and Girl in charge. Any disturbance should be reported to me immediately. Send word with one of the ghosts."
Before Dumbledore left he summoned some sleeping bags, and moved the tables and chairs all flew to the opposite side of the room.
"Sleep well," Professor Dumbledore says to them all, closing the door behind him.
Dawn alongside everyone else went straight into conversation about what had happened. The entire Great Hall buzzed with excitement, and Drew ran over and sat down beside them.
"I can't believe it!" he says, grinning. "This is so exciting."
"I wonder if we'll all make it through the night." Dawn grins. "I hope not."
