I heard Alex yell frantically, I took a deep breath standing up from Meredith's bed walking over to the door. I didn't even leave the room I just opened the door hoping Alex would see it, I made my way back over to Meredith's bed. I heard Alex quickly run into the room, I sat on the end of the bed as I my tears began to fall, Alex quickly walked over to me kneeling in front of me,
'I-uh was going to go to your room but it was locked, seeing as Meredith is one of my best friends apart from you I assumed it's fine, I'm sorry if it's not. I'm sorry',
I said sobbing into my hands, Alex wrapped his arms around me, I looked up at him,
'I don't want to feel this, I want to be numb again',
I said, Alex stood up pulling me up with him, wrapping his arms around me,
'don't say that okay, everything will get better, Meredith and I will make sure of that. We're here for you, always'.
