I said softly under my breath as I tried to quietly shut the front door but failed. I immediately heard someone walked towards the front door. I turned around and saw Alex and Jackson standing there staring me down,
'uh hey vinnie, hey Alex what are you doing up so late',
I said trying to act like nothing was going on. Jackson tried to hold in his laugh as Alex folded his arms looking at me unimpressed,
'y/n it's midnight where the hell where you?!',
Alex asked urgently walking towards me, Jackson put his hand on Alex's chest holding him back,
'give the girl a few minutes she just walked in the door',
Jackson said walking over to me. I smiled softly at him as he walked towards me, he leaned into my ear,
'I know I knew where you were but he didn't and I couldn't tell him because you told me not to. He's been panicking about you all night but give him a break okay? but good luck you're about to get yelled at like he's your dad',
Jackson whispered in my ear beginning to laugh, he walked away from me and walked up the stairs. I watched him walk away, eventually moving my eyes to Alex, he began to shake his head at me,
'what the hell y/n! Where were you? You can't just stay out until midnight and not answer any of my texts and calls okay?!',
Alex yelled extremely angry. I looked at him shocked I had never seen him like this before,
'Alex calm down what the fuck? I was out planning and setting something up for you okay! Jackson knew where I was, I just couldn't tell you because it was a surprise for your birthday okay!',
I yelled back at him, he looked at the ground not knowing what to say. I sighed and finally walked over to him, I wrapped my arms around his neck,
'I'm sorry Alex , I just wanted to make this surprise perfect for you, I put my phone on silent so I could focus. I'm sorry I scared you I'm fine okay'.
