I was met by darkness as my eyes fluttered open. I quickly realized I wasn't in the same bed I fell asleep in, in fact I don't even think I was in a bed, rather a pile of sheets. I tried to sit up and ended up hitting my head against a hard surface. "What the hell?" I mumble while rubbing my head. I then reached up to see that what I had hit was a glass ceiling of sorts. I pushed against it only to find that it wouldn't budge. "I'm so killing who evers dumb idea of prank this is." I mumble before reaching around to see if my wand was present, to my luck the 10 inch Beech wood wand was conveniently placed in my lap. "The dumbass who did this didn't take my wand?" I ask myself in disbelief before unlocking the domed glass ceiling above me with a simple flick of my wand. There was a faint clicking noise before  the class dome above me swung open. I was immediately on guard as I peaked out of wherever I had been sleeping. To my surprise the room was empty. It was a plane circular room with nothing but the box I had been laying in, which was placed in the center. It was dusty as if the room hadn't been touched in years. I cautiously looked for any trappes or runes before carefully stepping out of my box. I was only able to take about two steps out of the box before my knees buckled, and I fell onto the stone floor. "ghaa." I say aloud as my chin makes contact with the hard floor. Shakily I tried to get to my feet but failed. "What the hell is going on." I ask aloud not understanding what was causing my muscles to feel so weak. I then noticed that rather than my school uniform that I fell asleep in, I was in a shin length black dress and 2 inch high black heels. The dress was pretty from what I could tell but it seemed to be falling off my body as if it were 6 sizes too big for me; I kicked the shoes off and sighed in instant relief as my feet started to hurt slightly less.

The room was circular and the walls had snakes decorating the wall. I looked up to see a beautiful stained glass rose window, but no light came through. "Must be night still" I mumbled to myself. "Lumos." I said aloud causing a small ball of light to float around the room allowing me to see it in more detail. I first noticed that the box I had been in was actually a glass casket of some kind. "Well that's creepy." I mumble out before continuing my look around the dimly lit room. Then I noticed that the snakes all seemed to be looking around the room all except one which was looking right at me. I slowly crawled towards the snake that was looking at me, not trusting my legs to carry me just yet. To my surprise the stone snake followed me, its neck moving ever so slightly. "I have a feeling your my ticket out of here," I say to the stone snake before saying "Open" in parseltongue. There was an eerie silence before all the snakes started to recede back into the stone walls. They then re-emerged at the other end of the circular chamber forming a door. Using the wall I climbed to my feet and started working my way to the other side of the room.

Eventually I made it out the door and found myself on a lush green grass facing the forbidden forest, which was down the hill a bit. I then heard the sound of stone melting back into place, I turned around to see the door now replaced with cobblestone. I followed the base of the structure up the slightly damp hill. The cool grass feels nice against my sore toes as I continue around the side. Once I reach the top I see that the wall I came out of was attached to the base of a stone Gazebo that rested on top of the little hill. The Gazebo was simple but cute, But the thing that drew my attention was the stained glass roses on the floor of the Gazebo. "Secret room in a gazebo, good to know." I thought to myself before taking a seat on one of the stone benches, staring off into space. To my surprise it was much warmer than it was the other night when I fell asleep. I could even hear insects buzzing. "I guess spring is coming sooner than expected." I say aloud with a frown not liking the idea of going back to the Orphanage. "I'm afraid spring is already over." The familiar yet older voice that I couldn't quite place said from behind me. I turned around to see an old man. The shadows of the night covered his face but I could see he was in sleep robes, he had a long beard and a night cap on his head. "What do you mean spring is over? It's still February." I say confused. The old man chuckled, it was a familiar chuckle. I know Ive heard it before. "I'm afraid it is in fact June, not Febuary my dear." The old man said kindly before walking over to me. "Do you mind?" He asked me to gesture to the spot on the bench next to me. I shook my head no and scooted over slightly so we could both sit on it together. "Sometimes I like to come out here and watch the sunrise over the lake." He said simply. "I often take one of the boys' broom sticks and fly above the lake to watch the sun rise. Feels more freeing." I reply with a soft smile. "Do you not have a broom of your own?" The older man asked with a raised eyebrow. This made me laugh slightly. "Are you unaware of the rules sir?" I ask, slightly confused by his question. "Which rules would those be?" He asked. "Um sir, girls aren't allowed to fly brooms. Not without the company of a man that is." I say shylee. It was now the old man's turn to chuckle. "That rule was taken out 40 some years ago my dear." he said, making my eyes go wide. "I got detention for riding a broom just a few months ago sir." I said utterly confused. "Well I would like to know what professor gave you detention for such a sexist thing." The man said his voice calmer now. "Professor Slughorn Sir, he said he didn't want a delicate thing like me getting hurt." I say simply. I watch as the old man's eyes harden at my mention of the potions Professor. "Do you mind telling me your name dear girl?" The old man asked his tone much more seriously than before. "Umm, Winifred Riddle sir. Im a 5th year Slytherin student." I said like it was obvious. Most people knew who I was with the amount of trouble I caused, even if I didn't know them. The old man's blue eyes went wide at my words "Tell be Winifred, what year is it?" The old man asked. "Its 1943 sir." I say confused by the old man's odd behavior. "This is a rather odd development my dear." The old man said before getting to his feet. "What is?" I ask, rather confused. "Well... ah how do I put it gently," The old man pondered pacing back and forth in thought. "Sir, you're not making any sense." I say while scooting away from the old man. "Mrs. Riddle, I think you are going to be in for quite the shock." He said as he came to a stop right in front of me. "Well spit it out then." I say, growing impatient with the old man. "It is the 12th of June.... 1991, Mrs. Riddle." The old man said simply making my eyes go wide. There was a brief silence before I doubled over laughing. "Good one sir, but I haven't cracked time travel yet." I say, but as I do I look up to see that the old man was not laughing. "No you have not time traveled, I believe whatever potion you drank 48 years ago aged you backwards as time went forward." The old man said in thought. I wanted to argue that the potion only changed my hair color but then I remembered the potion's base was an ageing potion. "So I'm a 62 year old woman trapped inside a 15 years olds body?" I ask in disbelief. "Well you appear to be more around the age of 10, but the idea is the same." he said with a soft smile. "Well isn't that great!" I say sarcastically causing the old man to chuckle. "I'm glad to see you haven't changed." he said. "You know me?" I ask in confusion while looking into his kind blue eyes. "Ah yes how silly of me, I must look rather different then I did when I was your transfiguration teacher." He said with a smile. "DUMBLEDORE?!" I say loudly in shock. He gave me a warm nod. "You're so old!" I say, still in shock. "Oh I don't know, I still got some pep in my step." He said, trying to sound cool. "What's pep?" I ask, causing him to laugh again. "I honestly don't know." He replied, causing me to laugh. Dumbledore was always my favorite professor, he didn't get mad when I spoke out of turn or asked a lot of questions like the other teachers did. He would always listen and answer to the best of his ability, and if he didn't know he'd tell me how to find out. "Come now, let's get you some clothes that fit better and some food in your stomach." He suggested before walking up the path towards the castle. "So do you still teach Transfiguration?" I asked as we walked. "No, that job belongs to Professor Mcgonigal, I am Headmaster now." He said simply. "Did old Dippet die or something?" I asked bluntly. "Yes he died about 20 years ago." Dubmledor said. "A shame, He thought I was funny." I said simply.
