A Cobra Kai ran at us from all sides, fists raised, arms out, ready to fight. I punched mine square in the nose and watched as he staggered backwards, Demetri passed his back to me and helped Eli out, grabbing the back of the shirt of theirs and throwing him off. I kneed the kid that I had in the stomach then moved out of the way as Demetri and Eli both spun, sweeping his legs from underneath him. I looked between the two of them and smiled excitedly. "I'm so proud of you guys!" I cried, again pulling them into a group hug and this time noting that both of them hugged me back.
When I pulled away from them I was crying, tears were running down my cheeks and they both looked at me in alarm, "I'm fine..." I choked out, waving a hand round at them so they didn't do anything, "I've just been waiting for this for a really long time." Eli rolled his eyes and pulled me into a hug of his own, I leant my head against his shoulder and sobbed happily.
"Uhh...I hate to ruin your moment but...where's Sam?" Demetri mumbled, tapping my shoulder as I pulled away from Eli and dried my eyes on my sleeve. Miguel had arrived, looking battered and bruised beyond compare.
"And where's Tory?" I scanned the room, my heart beating faster with every second that I didn't see them.
"They're not here." I looked at the others and we instantly knew where they were. We all ran at the same time, pushing through the doors and out into the dojo before skidding across the deck and bursting through the doors of the indoor dojo.
Hawk made it through first, skidding to a stop at the sight of Sam and Tory fighting. Sam had a Bo and was using it to pin Tory to the wall. "Guys stop!" Miguel pleaded as he effectively bounced off of the wall to get in there.
"Tory, stop, the fights over." Hawk cried, as she turned her head to look at him angrily.
"It's not over." She looked between us all as we stood united, "This will never be over. You hear me?"
"You know where to find me." Sam sneered back coldly, dropping the bo away from her shoulder so that she could leave peacefully. She looked Miguel up and down then stopped in front of Hawk.
"Traitors..." she jeered, scowling at them as they stood together, "You better watch your back..." she mumbled, heading out of the path we had created for her.
"He won't have to. He's got friends watching it for him." Demetri stared her down as she left, exiting through the door.
"Sam, are you ok?" I rushed forwards before anyone else and she nodded, holding a hand up so that she could catch her breath without interruption, "You want me to go after her?" I asked, looking at her hopefully.
"Why would you do that?" She looked up at me with confusion.
"Because your my friend and no one hurts my friends." I smiled at her then looked back at the boys.
"Okay, okay, there's no need to go after her, I have a feeling she won't be back." Eli stepped forwards and hooked his arms round me, pulling me closer to him as Miguel checked to see if Sam was alright.
"Yeah, no more violence, I've had enough for my entire life, I think." Demetri mumbled, standing awkwardly.
"Come here, Demetri." I pulled away from Eli and extended my arms to Demetri, standing on my tip toes so that I could pull him into a hug before releasing him and letting Eli grab his hand.
"It's good to have you back as a friend, man." Hawk smiled and so did Demetri.
"Demetri and Eli," Demetri chimed, looking at Eli excitedly.
"Binary brothers." He mumbled and we all laughed. It was good to have them both back and I intended to keep it that way.
