CATALINA SIGHED AS SHE WATCHED BONNIE AND Damon walk into the grocery store. Her and Kai were in a fight and neither wanted to be around the other. For the first time since she got there, the Santos girl wanted out and the two bickering friends shopping for food was her ticket.

Cat quickly ran into the store hoping she wouldn't get killed for her attempts to "make peace" when in all reality, she was going to play the hell out of them to find her way out of the hell hole of Mystic Falls.

"We have pancakes everyday, Damon. It's been almost two weeks." Bonnie let out a sigh, shaking her head slightly.

"I'm good at pancakes, deal with it." The Salvatore man threw a box of pancake mix in the cart as Cat walked up to them.

"I recommend the chips." Catalina leaned against one of the shelves and was immediately met with Damon running over and wrapping his hand around her neck.

"Damon, what are you doing?" Bonnie yelled, there was finally another person besides them and be was already making her an enemy, much to his friends dismay.

"Buy me a drink first, bud." Cat choked out, her breathing slowing down as the Salvatore man tightened his hold on her throat.

"Stop!" Bonnie tried to push Damon back but he kept his eyes firm on Catalina.

"Who are you?" he questioned, clearly suspicious of her motives.

As he should've been.

Cat quickly broke the Salvatore mans hand and pushed him across the aisle. "I'm Catalina, your new friend."

Maybe she was gonna have to work a little harder to earn their trust.

IT TURNED OUT THAT CONVINCING THEM WOULDN'T be as hard as Cat originally thought. Like always, she got her way, and the pair of friends brought her back to the Salvatore boarding house. Here she was, right back at her home where she belonged.

"Care to show me around?" Cat asked Damon who kept eyeing her.

"I don't care to do anything with you." the Salvatore man narrowed his eyes. "Something about you looks familiar."

"I did work at a strip club, ever go to one of those?" The Santos woman leaned on the wall, a challenging brow raised.

Bonnie was in the kitchen trying to make a celebratory dinner, she was happy she didn't have to put up with Damon alone anymore, almost a month was enough for her.
