4. Injured Xie Lian X San Lang(fluff)

POV: Hua Cheng and Xie Lian went to destroy some pesky demons but Xie Lian got hurt while trying to save Hua Hua from a surprise attack.

When Xie Lian came to, he was already lying in their bed in paradise manor. The light from the lamp beside him felt too bright, it made his headache intensify. Hua Cheng had removed his outer robes and folded them beside the bed. The pristine white robes had been stained with blood. It was too stuffy.  Xie Lian felt a shiver run down his spine, the room felt too cold. He couldn't stay still. He turned this way and that, trying to find a comfortable position but no matter which way he turned, a sore ache remained. He had gone through worse pains before so it wasn't too unbearable but he made a mental note to not underestimate his opponents again.

"San Lang....? " his voice was barely above a whisper. 

He couldn't find San Lang anywhere. Slowly gathering his strength he got up from the bed, he was still shivering and thought that a nice warm bath might help.

Hua Cheng was walking back from the market, in his hand, he held a pouch of medicine to help Gege with his pains. He was in a sulky mood, it was after all his fault that Xie Lian got hurt trying to protect him. He clenched his fist. How could he even face Xie Dianxia after this?

The Paradise manor was quiet when he entered, "gege?", he called out softly.No reply. He stepped into their bed-chamber, it was empty. A flicker of worry spread through him. He ran to the dining place only to find him empty. He dropped the bag of medicines and started running through the halls. Finally, he reached the washing chamber.

Xie Lian was sprawled naked on the floor, body soaked in water, a broken bathtub beside him. He ran towards Xie Lian, kneeling beside him, and pulled him into his arms.

"Gege! Gege are you okay? What happened ?"

Xie Lian's words were jumbled and Hua Cheng could only make out the words "cold", "wanted to take a warm bath". Hua Cheng let out a frustrated sigh. Xie Lian was barely hanging on the edge of consciousness. Hua cheng removed his outer robe and wrapped it tightly around Xie Linan before raising him and touching their foreheads together.

"Gege, You are running a fever !"

Xie Lian let out a low moan before resting his head against Hua Cheng's chest. Hua Cheng picked him up gently and carried him to their bed. He wrapped the sheets snugly around him, " Gege don't get up, I am bringing you some medicine."

Picking up the fallen pouch, Hua Cheng took out a pill and slipped it into Xie Lian's mouth. They were silent for a few minutes, waiting for Xie Lian to finish swallowing.

"So? What happened ?"

"Huh?.... Oh ahh, I was feeling cold and thought a warm bath might help."

".................."

"hehe eh I guess it didn't work"

"How are you feeling now?"

Mmh. I feel fine now, I think my fever has gone down. Also ....could you give me some clothes?", Xie Lian was beginning to feel a bit embarrassed sitting here stark naked.

"Are you still cold?"

"No"

Hua cheng said in an innocent voice, "Then gege doesn't need clothes", a small smile tugging at his lips.

"..................."

Xie Lian did not know whether to laugh or cry, so instead, he turned beet red.

"San Lang! ...St-stop teasing "

"Okay, okay gege. but it's not like I haven't seen you naked before.

This sly demon! This was something  Xie Lian couldn't argue against. those passionate nights filled with sweat, cum, and moans were etched into his memory.

"gege, Why are you blushing?"

"huu-uh HuH? Oh I-I was ..." Xie Lian mumbled and covered his face with a pillow.

"Okay okay, I will stop teasing now." Hua Cheng slid in beside Xie Lian and wrapped his hand around Xie Lian's bare waist. The slender fingers felt cold, and when Hua Cheng started stroking them against his abdomen, tracing the abs and curves, Xie Lian couldn't help let out a low whimper. This seemed to amuse Hua Cheng, he softly nibbled on Xie Lian's ears and sucked his lobes. 

He knew every one of Xie Lian's sensitive spots and used them to his advantage. His fingers traveled downwards from his abdomen and between his thighs, kneading the soft skin in his palms. Xie Lian tried very hard to control himself, meanwhile, Hua Cheng seemed relaxed with no intentions of stopping. 

Finally, Xie Lian couldn't take it anymore, he grabbed Hua Cheng's arms and flipped them over such that he was on top. He was panting now, he felt restless but at the same time, he was already feeling weak again. His head felt heavy. Sensing hid discomfort Hua Cheng raised an eyebrow.

"Gege, are you okay ?" There was worry laced in his voice.

 "san-san Lang, I am sorry ...I just felt a little-"

Before Xie Lian could continue further his legs finally gave in and he collapsed on top of Hua Cheng with a thump. Hua Cheng immediately embraced his form, propping himself up against the bed frame he ran his fingers through Xie Lian's hair, his other hand drawing small circles against the small of his back.

Hua Cheng placed a kiss on his head saying," Let's rest for today".

"But San lang don't yo-" He was cut off by a kiss. Xie Lian colored deeply and turned away, pulling the sheets around himself. Behind him, Hua Cheng chuckled.

Hua Cheng snuggled beside him. He wrapped his arms around Xie Lian's waist and he pulled him to his chest,  nose buried in his hair. It felt cozy. Xie Lian couldn't help but smile, his eyelids already heavy with sleep.

"San Lang ...Something is poking m— OHH"

Hua Cheng grunted.

"Shh.  Sleep." However, Gege did not need to be told that since he was already slipping into a peaceful slumber.

A/N:- GUYS IT IS FINALLY COMPLETE! Yeah, it took a lot of time since I have exams and assignments to work on and also procrastination at its finest but hey it is here. So originally I was gonna make Xie Dianxia go top but it felt a bit...weird?
