Sincere rolled over and reached around his bed for his phone. He could feel his heart beat in his eye lids. The only reason he was even getting up was because someone was knocking on his door persistently. Despite that reaching for his phone was his first instinct.
"Sincere."
He let out a breath and rolled over. It wasn't Kai. He was never home in the morning. Sincere got up and walked toward the door, pushing his hair out of his face with his forearm. It was a pointless effort with no hair tie.
"Sincere."
He opened the door and Kris came in with her arms folded, tears either building or just beginning to fall by the time he opened the door. He raised an eyebrow.
"Why you here?" He stood firm in front of his door to stop her from storming past him like she usually would.
"I don't know-"
"Come back when you know why." Sincere said easily. He began to close the door and her face began to frown up. Kris brought herself close to him to stop him and started mumbling out something he couldn't understand.
"I do, I miss you, you know that." Kris stood on her toes to bring her face closer to his and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I don't wanna lead with that though. You said-"
