Lunch had passed by, while me and sam were joking around and making fun of each other When Hawk and I went out separate ways I stopped by my locker to drop off my backpack not realizing I left my phone behind which I needed.
"Hey, I have to go get something from my locker" I let sam know
"Of course do me a favor? stop by the vending machine and buy me a brownie with the chocolate chips" She request
"Anything else your royal highness?" I pinch the air like as if it's a dress and slightly kneel
"ugh! since you asked, yes buy my a juice which ever kind!" Sam laughs
I jog to my locker to get my phone but I notice some unknown number texted me

It was none other than Hawk, he actually took Mr.Browns offer and is gonna let me tutor him.. Oh no, what do I tell Sam?
I place my phone on my back pocket and walk at a fast pace to the vending machines, where I see Hawk and Miguel.
"Oh hey mia!" miguel says very enthusiastic
"Hey miggy, how's lunch?" I asked Miguel ignoring Hawk
"Good, thought you were on a diet" Miguel asked me as i insert the dollar bill into the machine
"Broke that many ages ago ahah, either way this is for LaRusso" I flash Miguel a smile as I bend down to get the brownie
"Say 'hi' to her for me?" Miguel blushes
"Of course lovebird" I wink
I turn around to walk the other way when I hear my name get called by Hawk
"Mia"
My heart must've skipped 400 beats with just my name slipping out of his mouth.
"Y-yes" god mia can you show anymore fear?
"Not a word to anyone" He says lightly as his cold minty breath hits my face
Hawk stood a bit taller than me. Not a word to anyone Mia. Not a word to anyone. The phrase never left my head and kept replaying like a broken record for the rest of the walk while having the brownie in one hand, I felt the pure chills on my spine.
I walk through the doors of the cafeteria, my eyes lock into Yas and Demetri extremely close to eachother. My first thought was to run off to the bathroom and i don't know scream, but i decide to just place my head down and make my way to Sam.
"Here" I hand Sam her brownie and take a seat
"Hey what's wrong mimi?" Sam has a pouty face on while she placed her hand on my shoulder and rubbed it
"Nothing" I force a smile
My eyes meet again with Yas and Demetri now laughing with eachother with their faces really close.
"What is it-" Sam turns her body around her chair to see what I was watching
"Oh..Mimi come on let's go.." Sam grabs her backpack which was hanging from the back of her chair
Once again we interlock arms and walk away from the cafeteria wanting to look back badly just to her one more glimpse of Demetri.
By now the bell rang for next period, we end up at our lockers again. Pulling my backpack out and switching my books Sam and I say our goodbyes for the meantime.
"So i'll see you after school?"
"Duh" Sam remarks
"Well okay then" I wink at her
"Hey and about earlier, he's a jerk" Sam shouts from a few feet away smiling
I wave at her one last time laughing at what she said about Demetri, although I cared for him. I knew him and I would never be anything more than friends
Making my way to the library which is were I spend most of my free period catching up on work and reading. When it hits me...I have to meet up with Hawk. Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz For about 2 hours I have to sit with him in a silent library absorb his presence.
Here goes nothing, I feel my heart pounding like if it was a speaker at a rave. I feel my hands filled with sweat like if it was ready to fill a pool up. My chest red as the apple the Evil Queen gave to Snow White. My mind jammed packed with thoughts like those moms trying to stuff their overweight suitcases at the airport ..
No way shape or form am I ready to tutor the Eli "Hawk".
