-------- Author Note - I said to myself the other day I'd love to hit 10K before I finish writing this story, which sadly will be soon, and I just hit 11K today!! Like I'm speechless! I can't believe that a story I started cause we were in lockdown and I thought why not has given me so much joy and has gotten this many reads! Thank you so much to everyone who's still reading, I love you all 💖

"Liv that's amazing! I'm so proud." Julie pulling out of a hug with her friend and looked at her.

Olivia hadn't stopped smile since she'd left The Rodeo. The boys had poofed out once she'd finished talking to Lisa and she'd rushed over to Julie's to tell her everything and of course ask them all a really important question.

"Thanks." She stepped back so she could look at them all, taking them all in for a minute.

She didn't know what she was nervous about, maybe she didn't want Julie to think she was taking something from her, which was silly because she wanted Julie up there too, if she wanted to of course. Or maybe she was worried they would say no.

"But there was one last thing. She wants me to play with a band, make it more of a show, she said they have a house band I can use but I was hoping that maybe, you know if you're free that you guys could maybe play with me? It's ok if you don't want to or can't I just." She rambled on.

"Of course we will!" Reggie ran up to her wrapping his arms around her waist picking her up and spinning her around as they both laughed. He put her down and looked behind him at the rest of the group, who were watching the two of them. "Well I'm assuming everyone wants to?"

The rest of them shock they heads and Luke well out a laugh. "Dude of course, does this mean we need to work on a new song?" He raised his eye brows at the girl.

But her mind was on other things now as she looked over at Alex as he stood with hands in his pockets in a world all of his own.

And it was, no matter how proud or happy he was for her his mind couldn't help wondering back to Willie. He'd told him to come back tonight so he could to her, Alex knew he didn't have much longer, he just wished he'd been brave enough to ask him out or tell him how he felt before this happened. But it didn't matter now.

"Yes, but not tonight, I have someone important to talk to, but I have something I think would be great for everyone even if it is country." She smiled back at Luke and then looked toward Alex.

He looked up and met her eyes nodding his head towards to the doors of the studio. "He'll be outside."

"I'll speak to you guys tomorrow." She said mostly to Reggie, she felt bad she hadn't really seen him much in the past few days but everything had just been happening so fast.

He grabbed her hand before she could get very far making her turn back around to look at him, as the rest of the group pretended they weren't looking at them. "Will you be ok?" He spoke softly.

"I'll be fine Reggie promise, I'll shout if I need you."

She pushed the door open and there he was. Stood in the garden with his back to her at first, giving her a chance to compose herself.

Reminding herself she was doing this for Alex and how much this meant to him, she coughed making her presents know to him.

He turned around the met her eyes. He stepped closer to her noting how nervous she looked. "Olivia thank you for talking to me."

She cut him off knowing this wasn't the right place to be doing this, she needed to be calm. "Before we actually do this, can we go up there?" She turned to point at the rood top. "It's kinda like my calm place." He nodded and poofed up there before she could say anything else.
