Chapter 36

Ara's POV

" You can't go out my miss. Madame Su ordered the guards , not to let us out of this pavillion. It's a punishment from Madame Su as you caused hella big issue between Han family and the royals. What we'll do miss? We can't even get out of here. She even asked the clerk to not give you any allowance this month and I feel so broke already." Sogum whined making me sigh and get up.

" No....no no no. I can't live like this , at this rate they'll force me to marry Taehyung .... I'll end up as a concubine? Huh? A-ani....no...no no ...I have to find a way. The windows are too small for me to move out....the only way to get out is the door." I sighed knowing how heavily I was guarded , it was similar of being grounded. I hate this. Why does it feel like being a parrot in cage? Am I being used by my family for money and status? Indeed yes. 

" Sogum-ah... is there any secret passage to get out? Or .....or any exit with less guards ? Ahhh .....this life is hell-" I mumbled making Sogum blink and think for a while.

" Ahh ....I don't think there's any secret passage that leads out but umm...the you can go out....if..." Sogum bit her bottom lip , hesitating to share the plan , looking not so confident as well.

" C'mon tell me... please-" I wiped my tears and sighed. Sogum played with her fingers before nodding.

" You know the guards are pretty much careless in the third gate. If you somehow manage to sneak out of the pavillion , you can use the ladder there that I'll place and get out of there just you have to do everything quick." She mumbled filling the cup with Rose tea.

" You ....wahhhh" I gasped covering my mouth before smiling at her. " So...I can get out but....there's so much heavy guarding out of the door , how I'll sneak out of here?"

" Ummm....if you have noticed , the guards change shifts and take 5 mins break , if possible you can sneak out wearing my clothes. I'll handle the rest-" I couldn't believe Sogum was so sharp. I was so impressed. " You liked it?"

" I loved it!! Can we pack my clothes and gimme some gold coins." I smiled walking to my trunk full of clothes. " Pack them asap while I can make a scarecrow dummy to fool the guards. You can say I'm sick and I'll run away. Easy?"

" Here some clothes and this small box of coins is what we have rn. Will this be enough to run away with? Are you going to come back if you go?" Sogum asked worried making me smile.

" Duh. I'll come once I'll earn a lot and have a stable condition without Hans around me. Till that wait for me ok?" Sogum bawled while hugging me feeling myself almost cry as well. " I'll be back soon. Now....when they'll change shifts...ugh."

" What if you'll get caught-?" Sogum pulled away making me pout and think. What will happen if I get caught? Will Han minister will ask guards to beat me till death ? Or any other painful ways !? I wonder what happened to the body's mother. Was she killed or it was a suicide-!?

" Idk what will happen to me , so I have to make sure no one can catch me or I'll be beaten to death and that won't be pleasurable." I sighed staring at the box of gold coins I saved.

" With this I can live for few days at least then I can get a job or something..... umm...are they changing shifts?" I pointed at the guards walking away making me feel more scared and secretly excited. Sogum ran to the door w me and as we got chance , she sneaked me out and lead the way to the third gate. Surprisingly she was right. Two guards were smoking while one was sleeping comfortably.

" Let's hide here-" she whispered while pulling me behind the tree. " If you get caught..."

" There's no time to think about what ifs , I have to do it." I slowly took the cloth bag she made for me and sighed. " Take care in my absence. I'll be back soon." I took a deep breathe and tip toed. The wall wasn't that easy to climb , especially with those weird footwears. My heart raced as I heard the voices of the two guards smoking. I groaned taking off my footwears and throwing them over the wall one by one , then dropping my bag. I panicked as the sound was loud because of the box sound on the ground. " Oh fuck."

I hurried and climbed the wall as there were no ladder. I cussed my fate while trying hard to climb the wall. " HEY WHO'S THERE HEYYY?" The guards shouted making my brain almost go numb , somehow I managed to go up the wall.

My eyes widened as they met with the hazel brown eyes of the shorter male staring at me with an amusing smile. " Which sane human leaves house by climbing a wall? Don't your house have some doors huh?" He laughed making me frown.

" Help me-" I mumbled while eyeing the guards running towards me. " HELP ME OR THEY'LL KILL ME , PLEASE!" I begged making his smile fade away for a moment.

" Arrasso .....jump. I'll catch you." Jimin looked up at me while spreading his arms. I wasn't really sure what to do. But somehow Jimin was my only hope. In last life he was Hanuel's ex. I wonder who's he in this life? Just a friend-? Or ....

I sighed and glanced at the guards one last time before jumping on Jimin. The trust I had on him in last life worked here. I slowly fluttered open my blue teary eyes to see Jimin staring at me. " Umm....g-gwenchana?" He asked in a very soft and gentle voice. Strange at how our heart was racing at the same pace while his warm arms hugging my waist , his beautiful hazel eyes never leaving my blue ones and his lips....

It feels so soft....on...top of mine....ummm.....
