ANOTHER day. Another challenge. Yumiko was currently outside the gym, waiting for Sakusa to finish getting his stuff and washing up so they could go home together. She snuggled herself, clinging her jacket to her body even tighter, the air was colder today than usual and Yumiko was absolutely freezing. To death, almost, if she were to stay there for at least 30 more minutes.
She stared up at the sky, the orange hue was turning more and more darker every minute. She guessed that this was one of the slight benefits with staying outside, she got to see this beautiful scenery in front of her. One that looks so near but actually so far.
It didn't change the fact that Yumiko was going to be a human icicle soon though.
"Kiyo!" she cheerfully greeted when she finally saw him coming out of the gym, relieved that she could bask in the warm comfort disguised as Sakusa's presence, Sakusa looked confused when he saw her. You see, Sakusa told her earlier that she should go home without waiting for him, but Yumiko, being stubborn, wanted to wait for him 'till he finishes volleyball practice, so she did.
"You should've gone home," Sakusa said with a monotone voice. Yumiko sensed something in his tone that was not quite the usual. It was as if he really didn't want her to be there. But no, that.. that's not it, right? Yumiko asked herself, nervous for an unknown reason.
