SHE lied wide awake that evening, sprawled across the bed, staring at the ceiling with the only light coming from the screen of her cellphone which she rarely used. It wouldn't even be there beside her on usual nights, but this was a different night. Earlier, Sakusa had crash into her house once again, and before he left, they exchanged contacts. That left Yumiko wondering, should she text him or not?
Yumiko had never done this before, thinking about texting a boy, not a normal boy, no, a boy that made her feel butterflies in her stomach and always ran in her mind throughout the day. A boy that makes her so flustered yet so comfortable.
Yumiko reached for her phone only to widen her eyes at the time, it was 1AM, she hadn't realized she'd been contemplating for about two hours. If she didn't sleep now then she would most probably be late for school once the sun rises.
She still wanted to text Sakusa, but figured he might find her creepy for texting in the middle of the night. She groaned, what am I doing? Sakusa-san must already be asleep, it wouldn't matter if I texted him now, he won't even see it right away.
