*ZAP*

*THUD*

Five and I landed on a hard wooden floor.

I groaned as I slowly pushed myself up with my arms.
I opened my eyes and saw that I was lying on top of Five.
he smirked up at me.
I slapped him lightly across his chest and stood up.

I looked around, we were in Five's old room back at the academy.
It looked the same as it did when I was here last.

"What was that?!"

I heard the voice of a woman yell from downstairs.
Five stood up as the sound of footsteps coming up the stairs grew louder and louder.

Five's bedroom door swung open and a woman rushed inside.

"Five, are you oka-"

She stopped as soon as she saw us ... well ... me.

I recognized her from when we first got stuck in the apocalypse.

"Allison"

"...y/n?"
She looked at me in disbelief.

She hesitated before running up to me.
She flung her arms around me and wrapped me in a hug.

At first, I was startled by Allison's reaction, but finally being able to hug her again was comforting.

I hugged her back as Five paced back and forth behind me.
We pulled away after a while, Allison has a huge grin across her face.

"I...I can't believe it"
She said.

I gave her a small smile.

She looked at my clothes from Australia.

"Love the outfit"

"Oh uh... thanks"
I adjusted the shirt and little.

"Wow, how touch"
Five said sarcastically.

"Can we get down to business now?!"

"Business?"
Allison crossed her arms.

"Preventing the apocalypse"
Five said as he walked up and stood next to me, one hand in his pocket.

I jumped slightly when I felt his other hand slide into mine.
I looked at him for a brief moment, then looked back at Allison, then back at Five.

I leaned closer to Five.

"Does she know?"
I whispered in his ear.

Five nodded and we both turned towards Allison.

"We really need to go"
I said.

"Should we at least tell the others your here, y/n?
We haven't seen you in 16 year."
Allison asked.

"Well I guess it wouldn't hurt to-"

"There's no time, we only have eight days."
Five cut me off.

"Besides, it's only been two years for her."

He lead me out of the room as Allison watched us leave.

I stopped Five in the hallway in front of my bedroom door.
It was closed.

"What the hell, Five!"
I said.

"I haven't seen the others in two year, I at least want to say hello before we go off saving the world."

Five looked away in thought, he sighed and looked back at me.

"Y/n, we don't have time for that"

"But we have a time traveling briefcase"
I said.

"And you can blink through time."

Five looked around to make sure no none else was around.
Then leaned in closer to my, maintaining eye contact.
He stopped only about a few inches away from my face.

"Well have all the time in the world with our family once we stop the apocalypse."
Five said in a low, quiet, almost demanding voice.

It felt like time was frozen, the world seemed to freeze around us as we stared into each others eyes.
The green in Five's eyes, sparkled as he darted his eyes from my eyes, to my lips, then back to my eyes.
I took a shaky breath through his nose, as if trying to calm his breathing.

At that moment all I could hear was Ben's words ringing through my head, what he said to me all those years ago.

"He's always put you first, y/n,
how are you so blind to his feelings for you?"

"How am I so blind?"
I whispered.

"Blind to what, Darling?"
Five asked, still in a low intimidating voice.
He smirked.

I chuckled quietly.

"Just wait til I tell Ben the"
I said.

Fives smirk quickly faded as he pulled away.

"Oh... that's right, you don't know."
He said.

I was confused.

"Know what?"

"Well..."
Five looked down.

"About a year after we blinked away, the others went on a mission."
Five said.

"They failed the mission, y/n. Barely escaping with their lives, and Ben..."
He looked back up at me.

"Ben wasn't so lucky"

I was shocked.

"Ben... died?!"

Five looked away and nodded.
My eyes flooded with tears.
Five looked back at me.

"Y/n, I'm so sorr-"

"No, no, I'm fine."
I turned away, wiping the tears away from my eyes, trying to hide the fact I was crying, we has more important things to worry about right now.

"I-I'm just gonna go get changed, I'll meet you back out here."

I opened my bedroom door and walked in, closing it behind me and leaving Five standing out in the hallway.

I leaned against the door and cried, sliding down it into a ball on the ground.

"Well"
I thought.

"Might as well get changed while I'm crying."

I opened my closet, revealing my old umbrella academy uniforms.
