Year : 2019

I open my bedroom door and meet Five in the hallway.
My uniform on and wiping tears away from my eyes.

"You okay?"
Five asked.

I just nodded and looked down.

"Okay, we need to go."
Five said and we started walking down the hallway again.

"Are any of the others coming with us?"
I asked.

"Nope, just us three for now."

"Oh okay- hold on"

Three? Can he even count, there are only two of us.

"What do you mean three?"
I asked.

Five looked at me and stopped outside his bedroom.
He opened the door and walked in.
After a while, he came out holding a body bag with a head poking out the top.

"You gotta be shitting me, Five."

I said in disapproval as he pulled Delores out of the bag.

"What?! Delores is apart of the family now."

I felt my heart slowly start to crumble as Five held Delores close to his chest.
I decided to stay quiet about it for now.

"Fine"
I said quickly, trying with all my energy not to cry.

Five smiled at me.

"I knew you'd understand."
He said and started walking again with Delores.

I knew right then and there that I had to get rid of her, but how?

I walked behind Five as I plotted my plan for Delores to "accidentally" go missing right before the apocalypse, about a day or two out from it.

We made it to the ground floor and started walking to the front door.

"Five!"
I heard a voice yell from behind us.
We turned around.

"Going somewhere without your dear old brother-"
As I turned around, Klaus was standing there, staring at me like he just saw a ghost (no pun intended).

"Well if it isn't little number eight!"
He said.

By the sound of his voice he obviously high, or drunk, or both.

"Hey Klaus"
I said.

"Is it really you?"
He asked in a puppy dog voice.

I chuckled and nodded.

"Oh my god! Y/n where have you been?!"
Klaus asked, running up to me and giving me a hug.

I could smell the drugs in his breath.
He pulled away from the hug, dtill gripping onto my biceps and looked down at me, I was still at least a head shorter than him.

"Did Five hurt you feewings so you needed some time away from him?"
Klaus mocked, pouting and giving us puppy dog eyes.
After a few seconds, he burst into laughter.
Five sighed, rolling his eyes and put Delores down on the ground next to him.

"Klaus, we need to get going if we wanna save the world"
Five said.

"Awwww, fine!"
Klaus whined as he let go of me and stood back.

It wasn't long before he had that drunken grin on his face again.

"Now run along, you two. But don't have too much fun."
He mocked again, showing us away with a cigarette in his hand.

As we walked out the door, I could hear Klaus talking to someone, which was weird because no one else was around except for us three (Delores doesn't count as a person).

We made our way to a van and Five opened the back, placing Delores carefully behind the passenger seat.
We climbed in the car and Five drove off.

As we were driving, I looked at Five.

"So, where are we going now?"
I asked.
"Do we have any sort of lead?"

"Well..."
Five pulled a glass eye out of his pocket and passed it to me, I examined it carefully.

"I pulled this from Luther when we first arrived in the apocalypse."
He said.

"So whoever caused the apocalypse-"

"Has a prosthetic eye!"
I finished his sentence, passing the eye back to him.

"Bingo"
Five smirked as he slid the eye baked into his pocket.

As Five put the eye in his pocket, the sleeve of his uniform slid up his arm, revealing a large cut.

"Oh my God, Five what happened?"
I asked, grabbing his arm and pulling it towards me for a closer look.

Five looked at me, then down at the dark red line going from his rest to his elbow.

"That's nothing"
He said, looking back at the road.

"Just had a quick reunion with some of my old colleague's back at the commission"

He pulled his arm away.

"Vanya patched me up as soon as she saw it"

"Good old Vanya"
I said, smiling to myself.

Five paused and smiled.
"Yeah... goid old Vanya, but that's not important now, we're almost there."
He said as we turned a cirber and a large white building came into view.

"It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye"
I quoted.

Five laughed as we parked the van.
