The Return

Chapter 12

Yukina hugged Himawari for what was probably the last time.She looked sad.

'You really can't stay with us?'

She patted her head.'I'm sorry,but we have to go.'

Himawari looked expectantly at her.'But you'll come back,right?'

Yukina felt tears threatening to come if she stared into the eyes of the sweet,innocent girl for any longer.'Maybe....'

She pulled her gaze away to see her son talking with the girl from a few days ago.If she remembered correctly,her name was Mirai...They looked good together.But her mother seemed to know Itachi.She would probably never be able to come back to the village again,but she had hoped that maybe Itana could come to the village....But if there were still people around who would be able to tell,then that was impossible.......

Yukina sighed.

'You've been sighing frequently since we came back,'Itana commented.

'The way you're saying it sounds like you're my guardian,'Yukina chuckled.

'Don't try to get out of it.You want to go back for good,don't you?'

Yukina smiled sadly.'It's impossible for me.But,maybe you could go back someday......'

Itana shook his head.'I'm not going back without you,mom.'

After a few more days had passed,they had an unexpected visitor.

Itana was shopping alone once again when he ran into Sasuke.

'Uncle?'

'Hello,Itana.I need to talk to your mother.Where is she?'

'Itana,you're back rather early-'Then she noticed that there was someone else as well...

'Sasuke?'

'I wanted to say something......'Sasuke said.

'.........'

 'I'll be leaving soon.I just wanted to say that you belong to the village and you should come again and this time,stay there for good.'

Yukina stared at him,wide-eyed.

'Naruto would welcome you with open arms and help you if necessary.There's Sakura and Sarada.....More importantly,'Sasuke smiled.'If there is a room for someone like me who caused so much trouble and even went rogue in the past,then there is definitely room for you and your son.You have done nothing wrong.I'm sure Itachi would want you to come back as well.'

(Sorry for not updating for ages!I Hope you liked it...Sasuke's speech here is heartwarming,at least to me :)
