Quiver/ The Decision/Press interview

After a good night's sleep you awoke with a clear mind, sure you were a little bummed about having to breakup with Yasmine but in time you'd get over it.

After some breakfast and a nice shower you checked your phone to see that you had a text from Sebastián telling you to call him back immediately the text saying that he had game changing news.

You pick up the phone and call him the phone rings twice before he picked up....
"(Y/N) where the hell where you I have some major news I think your gonna like." Sebastián says excitedly..

"The Networks come to their senses and renewed StrikeForce" you answer  sarcastically. "What... No" "Margot Robbie wants to star in a movie with yours truly" you say guessing again. "No (Y/N) will you please focus Sebastián says trying to get you back on track.

"Ok fine shoot" you say while opening the fridge to find something to drink "So I was talking to the committee and we've come to a decision that I think your going to love"

"Wait seb I thought I was making a decision" you say leaning up against the counter responding in a confused tone. "I know I did but litsen to this we've decided that the 50th All Valley Karate under 18 tournament will be hosted by StrikeForces own (Y/N) (L/N) but get this you'll like this the winner of the tournament gets to take on (Y/N) (L/N) himself in a exhibition match so what do you think..." Sebastián says excitedly.

You think about it before answering "You know what that actually sounds badass makes me feel like I'm the final boss in a video game or movie" you say chuckling.

"Hey its what you pay me for and I'd start training if I was you oh and by the way your lined up on the local radio station and the tonight show with Fallon this weekend so make sure you put on your best pr face I'll be in touch."... Sebastián says before he hangs up.

"Looks like I've got to get a new suit" you say to yourself as you go about your day. 

First was the radio show appearance its been a while since you did any type of public appearance so you were kind of nervous even though you would never admit that.

"Ok welcome back to the show today I have a treat for you all. Today gracing us with his presence on the show we have famous Martial Arts movie Star The King of Sting (Y/N) (L/N). The radio host named Jason says welcoming you.

"Thankyou Jason I'm glad to be here" you say excitedly

"Man let me just say Im a huge fan and It's safe to say that I'm not the only one that was disappointed when we heard about the cancelation of your show.

"Thankyou and it is what it is man I have nothing but respect for everyone working on the show and everyone behind it" you say trying to remain professional.

"Thats great to hear man so why don't you tell the listeners a little about why your here" Jason said "Well I thought you'd never ask Jason I'm actually here to announce that I'll be hosting the upcoming All Valley Karate under 18 tournament."

"Woah you here that listeners StrikeForce's own (Y/N) (L/N) is hosting the All Valley Valley. Now (Y/N) will you be competing in the tournament itself" Jason asked curiously.

You chuckle at this "Unfortunately I'm not I mean come on if I did I'd win the whole damn thing, but the winner of the tournament will have the privilege of facing yours truly mono e mono in an exhibition match. You reply with a confidence that could be taken for arrogance.

"Well you all heard that once again (Y/N) thank you for coming on and good luck to the person who has to face you at the tournament."

After the radio show had to get to school other wise the teacher will be less then pleased as he already wasn't your biggest fan.

Rushing in through the doors of the class you yell "Present" just as the teacher was about to mark your name absent.  The teacher gives you an unimpressed look.

"Mr (L/N) a second late and I'd have to mark you absent do remember what I told you about being late especially on exam day.

"Sorry teach I had a radio interview" You say sitting down, defeated the teacher gives you a condescending glance before passing out the exams.

Miguel turns to you to speak "So I heard your radio interview are you really going to be hosting the tournament"

"Yep my agent thinks this can get me back in the game" you reply in a hushed tone so the teacher won't hear you.

"Man that's so cool wouldn't it be awesome of we fought at the end of it" Miguel says excitedly. "That would be awesome"  You smirk at this "It would be maybe I'd teach you a thing or two, by the way how's things going at the dojo?"

"Its a bit touch and go we had a full class the other day and Sensei made fun of all of them" This makes you laugh out loud which makes the class look at you.

"Mr (L/N) Mr Diaz do I need to give you detention so you can finish your conversion there?" "No" you and Miguel say at the same time.

After class Miguel tells you about what else happend at the dojo and how he was thinking about asking Sam out on a date.

The day of the Fallon show arrives and it's game time. You'd lie to yourself if you'd say you weren't nervous as this was actually your first public appearance since the cancelation of your show.

Fallon introduces you and brings you out to the applause of the crowd Fallon greets you with a bro hug before you both take your seats.

"Oh man (Y/N) Thankyou for coming its been so long since you were on the show"

"Good to be here Jimmy I missed all of this"

"From the sound of the crowd it seems they missed you to Jimmy replies. "Now let's get down to brass tacks everyone here wants to know if the rumors are true are you really hosting the All Valley under 18 Karate  tournament."

The audience claps and waits for your response you simply smirk and take off your glasses "Yep I thought I'd try something new this tournament is very important to the valley and it means alot to so many people that I couldn't say no to them.

This gains an applause from the audience "Thats super awesome (Y/n) now is it true that I hear the winner will have the honor of fighting you that will be something to see

"You chuckle it will be something indeed it'll finally prove all those nay sayers wrong that's for sure you reply

"Well I'm sure myself and everyone here would love a demonstration or little preview of your skills Fallon says as three men rollout boards on dolleys two of them low in center with the other one being quite high.

Knowing you were never one to turn down a challenge you smirk and get up you set up taking a bow before getting into your stance with a flash you deliver a punch taking out the first board before throwing a side kick in the same motion smashing the other board and for the finale you jump in the air delivering a spinning back kick smashing the last board before landing on the ground before putting on  your glasses and crossing your arms as the audience claps for your skills. "(Y/n) (L/n) ladies and gentlemen Fallon says clapping with the audience. All you could think was that you missed this fan fair and love as you soaked in the praise.

A/n Hello everyone sorry for the long hiatus but life has got in the way and it's been tough trying to break my writers block. But alas I'm back I'm hoping to get more chapters out for this story and my others as well but we'll see anywho till next time take it easy yall
