Emerging abruptly at the creak of twilight,
Rising before the sun,
Running faster than time,
Working till your body can't take it anymore

Skipping sleep for days,
Working for 24 hours,
Don't even have time to eat properly
Working harder than a machine

Can't differentiate between day and night,
All are the same,
Don't even have time for yourself,
Let alone shopping, salon, theatre

Just surviving on coffee and brunches,
Have stopped any human interaction,
Don't even remember the last time,
You closed your laptop

Now stop working,
Take a break,
Tell your body,
It needs to stop working

You aren't a machine,
And need time for yourself,
Turn off all your gadgets,
And just listen to emollient music of the nature

Now reward yourself,
You've worked hard enough,
Go get some rest,
Or take your pet for a walk

Go talk to all your friends and family,
Treat yourself with ice-cream,
Read your favourite book again,
Gaze at the twinkling stars
Feel what it means to be alive,

Go for a vacation,
Eat all the food you had craved for,
Learn new skills

Buy new clothes,
Even if you don't need them,
Pamper yourself,
Don't be guilty,
You've earned it

And remember, don't overwork yourself,
For you are a human,
Work hard too,
And when it is just too much,
Stop time, and
Take a break

Summary-
These days, we work so hard that we even forget what it means to be alive. I wrote this poem to remind you how to celebrate life. The main moto behind writing this poem is, "Stop time sometimes and be busy doing nothing. Don't be guilty while taking a break."

[(A/N)- I wrote this poem in a hurry so I'm sorry for disappointing you. Even I'm not satisfied with it myself. But I needed to give smh to my loyal readers.]
