Hold your tears inside, don't let them ever see you weep
Cast your fears aside, let them think you get a good sleep
Pull the fallen close, so that they feel safe
Hide a tear that grows, along with the pain that chafes
Carry your sorrows, but don't unload them on the weary
Guide the one that follows, and open a path for them to see clearly
Ignore the ghosts of yesterday, predict the ones of tomorrow
For they come to play, and pray upon your sorrow
