"It's timeeee" Billie sang and knocked on my door. I quickly closed the book I was writing in and put it under my covers.
"Time for whaaaatt" I sung back as she opened my door.
"Questions! We gotta see what u can remember" She grinned at me with her perfect teeth and sat on the edge of my bed.
"Nooo it's boring" I fell back on the bed and she laid at the side of me.
She flicked me on the forehead and I sat up and glared.
"It is not boring! If you think of it as like a fun way to find out more about yourself"
"I already know everything about myself" I groaned.
"Mmm no..you really don't" she laughed awkwardly and got up to go into the living room.
"Wh- billie? What was that" I said following her.
"Come on sit down" she smiled and patted the seat next to her.
"What was the suspicious words and the awkward laugh" I said and came over to her.
"Nothing oh my god I was only kidding now let's do this!"
I sighed "Fine"
"So can you tell me what you remember about us becoming..friends" She said hesitantly.
Ever since I got out of the hospital it's almost like Billie can't say the word friends in any situation (that involves me mostly) without being uncomfortable and hesitant. What's up with that?
"Uh I don't know..I was coming to your show and I bumped into you. Then I came to the show, then I got lost and ended up backstage with you and Finneas. You told me I was beautiful and helped me find Talia. Then I think we talked on Instagram and met up in a park. Then just started hanging out and became friends. Then I moved here and we're still...friends"
"You said you don't know yet you just gave me the whole thing" She laughed.
"Okay yeah whatever, when can we finish this?" I said.
"Aww are you bored already? Come on I tried to make it interesting" She pouted and I rolled my eyes.
"Sorry bil but I think you should try again"
"Okay well another question it is!"

Billies POV:
Listen, I know the doctor told me not to ask too many detailed questions, just the vague ones but she gets bored and sometimes annoyed. I don't like seeing her annoyed, so interesting questions it is.
I mean they aren't they aren't that interesting, but if they'll get my girlfriend back then they are the most interesting thing in my life at the moment.
I don't think she got anything from the questions. I don't think she takes too long to ponder over them during or after. She's more just thinking about how she can answer them quickly and get it over with.

"Okay so..do you remember any important events from before the accident?" I said tapping my fingers nervously.
"Uh...well I did get an audition. A really big audition actually"
"What! Why didn't you tell me?" I sat up quickly, now excited.
"Well I..I don't know actually. I think I was-
I was going to tell you but- but then that.."
Her confusion and stuttering was concerning.
"Hey you good?"
"Yeah yeah fine um, I think I was on my way to tell you but then the..thing happened"
"Oh. So you didn't get to go to do the part?"
"They sent me an email to tell me that they had to replace me because of how long I was in the hospital"
"Oh Alex I'm sorry" I gave her a hug "are you still okay to carry on with questions or do you want to stop now?"
"No no it's fine carry on"
"Okay, so do you remember anything else from before the accident?"
"Um, well I remember..never mind actually it doesn't matter" she said,  shook her head and laughed awkwardly.
What could she have remembered that is awkward to talk about?
Do you think she remembered...
No, She can't of. Not that quick.
I'm too scared to ask.
"wait you can tell me" I said quietly "whatever is I mean I won't judge you"
"No it's fine can we do something else now?"
She said and got up.
"Oh, yeah ok"
1 step forward one step back I guess.
