Fresh start

Alex's POV:
So, I was pretty much fully recovered from my accident. I didn't need to go to the doctors every damn day, or at least that's what it felt like. The last visit wasn't exactly a joyous occasion either...

I found out that the memory issue was actually a lot worse than we thought it was. I didn't lose a lot of my memory, and some of what I lost I've been able to remember with some work. But the majority of the most recent events are gone. So, i've decided to start over. I have a date!

It was really hard only being friends with Billie. It was so strange because it felt like something had already happened when it hadn't. It might of been all the flirting and me already being in love with her, but I decided it was time to get over it and start fresh. I haven't told billie that I'm going on a date yet. But I will tell her next time I see her. Which will be soon considering she's always at my house. If she's not at my house then I'm probably at hers.

The date Im going on is with this girl I met at a cafe the other week. She was the barista and very attractive. I was originally planning on avoiding her because she was obviously gay and again, very attractive. But she was serving me so I had no choice. It was her that asked me out, which is probably best because I'm hopeless at everything to do with dating.

I'm really excited and extremely nervous. I think that we are probably just going out for something to eat. My anxiety has already made me go through thousands of scenarios of what could go wrong, but I managed to stop myself from cancelling. I spent way too long on my eyeliner to cancel anyway.
