*Lin's pov*

There's no way, how?

"What? How did that happen?!"

"We don't know yet Chief"

the guy started laughing maniacally

"What's so funny?" I asked

"The Avatar will pay for the stuff they did, now they will understand what it feels like to suffer" he was smiling "our job is done" he kept his head down

Our job is done? What does he mean by that?......maybe.....but that means..... The blueprints were never the main target...... it was Korra the whole time!

*Asami's pov*

I walked from the pier to the main entrance, I saw Jinora sitting on the stairs to the temple next to Kai who had his arm wrapped around her shoulder and was holding her hand.

"Asami, you came!" She ran up to me and hugged me and I hugged her back

"Of course I did, Korra is my... friend I care about her" I looked

She smiled and looked at Kai who was still sitting there

"are you guys together or something?" I asked and I smirked

"w-what? N-no of course not" Kai said and Jinora turned red

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone" I chuckled and he nodded

"Where is she?" I asked

"Oh yeah, follow us we were waiting for you here hoping you'll show up" Kai stood up as Jinora joined his side as we made our way into the temple.

We walked past airbenders that were practising their skills and we went inside, we were walking down the long empty hallway, on its end I saw Tenzin and the rest of his family standing in front of one room, I sighed as we approached them.

"Hello Asami, what are you doing here?" Tenzin asked

"Korra is my friend, I came to check up on her, how is she?"

"not good, she has a fever, bad one, her breathing is weak, we tried everything but so far, nothing is working" he sighed as I looked on the floor

"oh sweetie come here" Pema stood up and she hugged me "I know how much she means to you" I hugged her back, I remember that time me and Korra went on a vacation to the spirit world, it was nice and friendly, but since then I think I felt that this was more than friendship, but I was too scared to talk to her about my feelings.

"Of course she does, she was there when I needed someone the most, after I lost my father she kept checking up on me, she always made sure I was okay." I sighed as I pulled back, in that moment Kya walked out of the room

"I have good news and bad news"

*Lin's pov*

I walked into our second interrogating room and sat down in front of the other guy.

"I'm Chief Beifong, tell me your full name"

"Yadashi Shitara, please I-I didn't want to do it they made me" he was scared, his voice was shaking. I wrote his name down into his file

"Please calm down, what was your motive to steal the blueprints?" I wanted to make sure I was right about Korra being the target,

"They didn't want the blueprints, they went after the Avatar, I-I was just their chauffeur" No.

"Why was the Avatar the main target?"

"I don't know they didn't tell me, t-they threatened me that i-if I won't do as they say they're gonna hurt my family" I know he knows something, why is he hiding it if he's innocent? he was broken he was almost crying

"What did you want to use on the Avatar to hurt them? What is it made from?"

"I-I don't know" he looked on the ground he's lying

"Where is your base?"

"I don't know" that's a lie he knows something

"You're lying!!"

"No, I'm not! Please I-I swear I don't know I've never been there I-I barely know these people please don't hurt me" he covered his face with his hands and cried Why is he so afraid?

"We are not gonna hurt you" Mako stepped in

"We just wanna know as much as we can" he continued

"I-I can't they told me I can't" Did they hurt him?

"But they're not here now, they won't know you said anything" I remained silent, for once, Mako seemed to know what he's doing

"w-will you make sure my family is safe?" he looked at me and I nodded, he was shaking, he seemed scared, they must've done something really awful to him

"I'll send a group of people to secure your house, but I need information for exchange, you will help us, we will help you, then we can take care of these people and make sure they will never get to your family, ever again, I promise you that," I said as I leaned on the table

"o-okay, I know there's like 20 of them, they took me into abandoned old shack, t-they were torturing me, telling me they are gonna kill me.... my wife a-and my daughter, s-she's just 4 yeard old, I couldn't allow them t-to do that"

"How did they got you there?" Mako asked

"I-I was on my way home during night, they jumped out of a van a-and they threw me inside"

"Why did they attacked the Avatar?" I asked

"I'm not really sure, they said something about their leader wanting revenge..... I-I was barely conscious, they injected me something t-that made me fall asleep"

"Where is their main base?" I asked again hoping he'll talk but he remained silent and he looked on the ground. Mako looked at the file I had in front of me,

"Yadashi if you won't tell us where their main base is, we can't do anything"

"I-I don't know okay? I swear I really don't know, please protect my family, y-you promised, I can't let them down" he was crying again

"You have my word," I said

"Thank you, thank you so much" he tried to calm down now

"What did they attacked the Avatar with?"

"They haven't mentioned it, t-they just said the Avatar will pay for what they did to their leader" he looked down "I don't know anything else, p-please protect my family" he looked back at me

"I will, tell detective Mako here where is your family's current location, and we'll send some people there"

"Thank you so much" At least he said something, we still have two more people to talk to, but I don't think they will say anything

I sighed and stood up and walked outside.

What news do you think Kya has? And what did they do to that poor Yadashi guy? Guess we have to wait and find out :)
