The five Pogues got to Hawk's Nest in John B's van quickly so he could get the map from Sarah after Kie finally accepted it.

Blake was sitting in between JJ's legs while he played with her hair as she laid in his chest. Jj couldn't help but smile and this was boticed by both Pope and Kie, he might not realised it but he was head over heels for her.

"Alright" John b said stopping the van

"Hit it, boys!"

"We're goin'"

"Recon mission"

"Avengers assemble!" The four Pogues yelled excitedly

"You really are a nerd" JJ laughed at what Blake had said

"Yo, uh...so, I think I'm gonna do this one by myself...tonight" John b said as thunders sounded in the distance

"Really?" JJ asked him disappointed

"What?" John b snapped

"Nothin'" JJ shook his head and walked back to stand next to Blake and grabbed her by the waist

"I don't want to spook Sarah with the peanut gallery" John b told them

"I just don't understand why we're involving her at all" Kie whined agai

"Kie, we're not involving her, okay?" John b groaned in annoyance "It's just, uh, like a business meeting... thing. Look, once we get what we need, we cut her loose, all right?" John b told her

"And we kind of need the map" Blake tried to convince Kie too

"Promise me nothing's happening between you" she said ignoring Blake

"Nothing is happening, Kie" John b lied

"I'm being serious. This isn't about you, and this isn't about us. This is about her" Kie exclaimed again

Blake was about to defend Sarah once again but Jj stopped her putting a hand on top of her mouth. There was no need to make Kie even angrier.

"Just promise me nothing's happening between you guys" Kie said looking straight at John b

"I promise" He lied once again

"That was really believable" JJ said sarcastically

"A hundred percent believable" Pope continued

"Yeah, I totally bought it" Blake finished

"Anyways, I'm gonna take care of business" John b announced already tired of his friends

"You're gonna take care of it" Jj mumbled and Blake could feel his hot breath on the side of her neck

"I tell you. We'll just sit here in the hot-ass car while it's lightning" Pope complained as the storm got louder

"I had better plans for the night" JJ complained too

"Oh really?" Blake turned to look at him questionably

"Hell yeah I did! And none of them included you in that dress" he spun Blake around so they could face each other

"You said you liked it" she frowned

"I also did say that I liked you better without it" he put a strand of her dark hair behind her ear

Blake just looked into his bright blue eyes. She didn't care that they were in the middle of a storm or that Kie and Pope could probably see them from the van. It was just her and JJ in that moment.

At this point they were just waiting for the inevitable to happen. A lot of moments had happened and neuther of them could deny it. They were falling hard.

No pogue on pogue macking, that was the rule. But she was actually a Kook, did the rule apply then? And even if she wasn't would it made such a difference in their friend group? If only it would only make the tension between her and Jj stop.

But nothing was happening right then. Not when they were in the middle of a mission, Pope and Kie were just a few metres away from them and John b and Sarah could appear in any moment.

"Do you want to come to my house later?" Blake asked the boy hopefully

"Really?" JJ asked her

"Yeah" the girl nodded

"For sure, baby" he smiled and gave her a kiss on the cheek

Jj and Blake made their way back to the van as if nothing had happened and neither Kie nor Pope questioned them, but they were smiling wide either way.

"Someone help!"

"Rafe and Kelce followed me" Jj stopped his story "Wait, do you guys hear that?" he asked

"What?"

"No"

"Please, somebody help!" It was now clear that it was Sarah who was calling out for help

"Oh, wait, no, I hear that. Shit" JJ said as all of them took of running towards where Sarah's voice was coming from

They didn't expect what they saw. John b's body was on the floor and Sarah was crying above him.

ñSarah! What happened?" Pope asked her quickly

"I don't know what to do. He needs help. Topper shoved him" Sarah explained nervously

"Topper?" Blake asked her and Sarah just nodded at her

"Where the hell is he?" JJ asked angrily

"Oh, please, please, please get help. I don't care who. Just call someone" Sarah kept crying touching John b's face

That was the moment Blake saw something in the distance. She'd recognise that bright suit anywhere.

She looked between John b and where Topper was. The pogue had a lot of people taking care of him and looking for help but Topper, no one was going after him.

"Sarah...Sarah look at me" Blake crunched down next to her friend "Call me when you know anything alright?" she asked

"Where are you going?" the blonde asked her

"Just call me" Blake said and turned around to face Jj

"Why are you doing this?" JJ asked her. Blake trued to keep a strsight face but even she could see how JJ was panicking for his friend.

"Someone has to" she just told him "J...I'll call you later okay?" she asked him

"Yeah" he nodded "Take care. I can have something happening to you too tonight" he stepped closer to Blake and hugged her tightly

"I'll be fine" she assured him "I'll call you" she called out as she took after Topper

Really short and shitty chapter but I wanted to split what's happening here and the start of next chapter in two.
