Chapter 11

3rd person POV:

"I'm fine"

Kageyama said avoiding hinatas stare "mk if you say so" hinata started talking about random stuff while they walked towards the cafes peeking in the windows trying to find macaroons. "And then— OH LOOK MACAROONS" hinata stopped talking and excitedly pointed out some macaroons on display, kageyama opened the shop door walking inside hinata following close behind, 

"Welcome!" The shop owner said with a smile "what can I get you today?" Hinata and kageyama looked at each other not knowing what they wanted "uhm...do you have samples?" Asked kageyama "ofc!" The shop owner placed a tray of macaroon samples of each flavor , he explained which each flavor was and then let them try 

"Ooo let me text and ask if Zara wants any," hinata said pulling out his phone "..ok." Kageyama replied a bit annoyed 

Zara💕: 

Hinata: hey babe!💕 I'm at a bakery with kageyama do you want a macaroon?❤️

Zara: hi baby 💖 and that sounds really good!! May I have two chocolates and two lavenders? 💕

Hinata: ofc! I'll bring them tomorrow k? 🥰

Zara: ok ily 🥺❣️

Hinata: ily too!! 😚❤️

Hinata put away his phone "alrighty kags did you try any yet?" Hinata asked looking hungrily at the macaroons "mhm, the salted caramel ones, I'm getting that one" kageyama replied ordering his "ok im gonna try some!!" Hinata said, he tried a few and decided on getting strawberry and chocolate, after he ordered Zara's he looked at the sample of the lavender one "hmm" he picked it up "Zara wanted this one I wonder how it tastes" hinata said , he popped it in his mouth and then spit it in a trash can , "you okay-" kageyama asked before getting cut off "IT TASTES LIKE SOAP AND  PERFUME" hinata said scraping his tongue. Kageyama started to softly chuckle and then it turned into a full on laugh , hinata looked back to see kageyama laughing "woah.." hinata mumbled blushing " did I make you laugh? You? Laugh?" Hinata said excited "shut up" kageyama said still chuckling 

As they walked out of the shop munching on their macaroons hinata suggested they go to one of their houses and hang out, kageyama thought for a moment but he did want to get closer to hinata...in..in a friendly way..."Whatever let's just go to my house my parents are out on a business trip , I'm alone" hinata agreed and they made their way to kageyamas house. Once they got there hinata walked inside slipping off his shoes and looking around "woahhh kags your house is so nice!" Hinata said looking at everything, kageyama was about to say something but hinata was already sprinting up the stairs towards kageyamas room. "DUMBASS WAIT" kageyama said running up the stairs 

Hinata flopped on kageyamas bed and saw a plush pillow and snuggled his face into it "so soft..." he was basically half asleep with his face in kageyamas pillow, kageyama walked in the room panting "hinata you-" he stopped in his tracks seeing hinata on his bed cuddled up with his pillows and his entire face turned red "..d-damnit...why is he so cute..?" Kageyama hid his blushing face but didn't look away , after collecting himself he walked over slowly sitting next to hinata on the bed, he could tell hinata fell asleep. "How did he fall asleep that fast?" Kageyama thought staring at him.

A few minutes passed and kageyama was watching TV while hinata snored in the background, he then heard a ding! Sounds come from his phone, he picked it up and saw an unknown number had texted him, he clicked on the message to see -

Unknown: uhm hello? Is this kageyama Tobio?

Kageyama was confused how someone got his number and knew his full name 

Kageyama: ? Who is this?

Unknown: uh well if it is you kageyama then hello, I'm Connor lenards? Zara's brother, are you the one she's dating? I just got back from a long trip in California and this is the numer she gave me for her "boyfriend" ?

Kageyama: oh yes this is kageyama but no I'm not dating her?

Connor: oh? That's odd she gave me this number and your name

Kageyama was obviously confused... "why would she give him my number?" 

Kageyama: my friend is dating her? I don't really talk to her so..

Connor: oh. Well I misunderstood then I asked her who she was dating and she said someone's name and then yours and gave me two numbers , I wasn't listening to the first part So I guess I assumed you were her boyfriend 

Kageyama: no the other number probably is tho..

Connor: oh well okay! Sorry for bothering you,

Kageyama: no it's fine 

Connor: you seem pretty chill, wanna be friends

"Not really.." kageyama thought to himself, but Connor did seem nice so he agreed and then said he had to go so he put his phone down , he kept thinking and then a few thoughts went through his head "why would Zara mention me?"
