Shawn didn't waste much time in the shower, soon he was heading downstairs to join his wife. He couldn't help but to smile when he found her in the dining room, lighting up candles for their dinner.

That was the woman he loved so much. She was so romantic, it was corny at times, but he adored her for it. He loved that she let herself be like that with him. Most people didn't know that side of her. To them she was tough and serious. Even her family saw her as a hard ass, but with him she was just adorably sweet.

"Hey" Bey smiled when she saw her husband at the other side of the room. "Come sit down."

Shawn did so, and she sat across from him. He found himself smiling again when she revealed their plates.

"That's my-"

"Favorite." Bey completed. "I know."

They started eating, barely taking their eyes off each other. Shawn was so happy he could burst, but still, he needed to know for sure.

"Bey, why are you doing this? What is this about?" Shawn asked when he finally couldn't hold it anymore.

Beyoncé took a deep breath. She had actually rehearsed what she was going to tell him when he asked, but by now, she already forgot everything. She'd just have to be honest.

"Well this is my way of saying I'm sorry, I guess. For everything I put you through, and even our families, but especially for forgetting about you. I was completely blind. I couldn't see what I was doing to you, or what I wasn't doing. I know saying I'm sorry won't fix everything, but It's a start. I'm going to work on it. I want to make you happy again." She smiled, taking her husband's hand. "I want us to be happy."

"You're already making me happy, Bey. You're all I needed to be happy." Shawn said pulling her closer so he could place his lips on hers.

"Damn, I missed you." He mumbled against her lips. It felt like so long had passed since he was able to do that.

"I know. I missed me too. And us."

Shawn kissed her again, and then Beyoncé pulled away slowly.

"We should finish eating, I made dessert."

When they were thru, Shawn cleaned the table while Beyoncé went to get the pie she made for them. When she came back with it, Shawn was in the living room, changing the music.

"Come here." He said offering his hand. As soon as she took it, Shawn pulled her very close and started dancing with his face pressed against hers.

"You're so silly." Beyoncé laughed. "I missed that too."

Shawn looked into his wife's eyes. "I will never hear the word divorce again, right?"

"Never." Beyoncé replied softly.

"Good." Shawn smiled and spun her around, making her laugh.

"When we first started dating, it was one great surprise when I found out you could dance." Beyoncé said when their faces were pressed together again.

"Really?" Shawn looked at her. "You didn't think I could dance?"

"A lot of men don't." She shrugged. "Most don't even try."

"Even if I couldn't, I would learn. I'd be a fool to go to a club with you just to stay glued to a chair while you went off to dance alone. Those guys would never take their eyes off you. They still don't."

Beyoncé smiled. "What about you? Did you have any good surprises about me?"

"Yeah" A smiled started to spread on Shawn's face. "The first time I said I love you, and you told me you loved me too. It was a great surprise. I was worried about your reaction. Didn't know what you would say, but I was tired of saying it in my head and never saying it out loud."
