That was my first surgery but obliviously we didn't do anything we just watched Doctor Shepard take the tumor out but it was still cool. But rumor has it that the attending on call during our first shift chooses a intern that shows the most promise to perform a surgery. I was paged to the nurses station. When I arrived I saw Dr Shepherd looking at a chart "yes Doctor Shepherd " I said when I got there. He pointed at a room and said "In there is Katie Bryce she is having seizures that no one can explain there is a competition whoever finds out first will join me in the surgery good luck, he smiled and walked away". I wondered why he would tell me this information. So I called Ji "Hey what's up" he said "want to investigate the Katie Bryce case with me" I said "sure library " he said "yeah see you then" I hung up and started heading up to the library when I saw Meredith "Hey" I said "Hey" she said " we're are you heading" I said "the library what about you" "same" we walked to the library together. That's when I spotted Doctor Shepherd and Meredith spotted him too "I got to go, good luck" she said nervously and she ran off. That's when Doctor Shepherd came up to me. "Why did she run off "he said "I don't know" I said "see you later" he said and he ran in the same direction Meredith ran towards. "Hey earth to Y/N" Ji said "o sorry I got distracted let's start" I said he told me what he had found
2 hours later
"We haven't found nothing "Ji said" "I kno-" are pagers started beeping it's a 911 for Robert "I got to go" I ran to roberts room but when I got there Doctor Shepherd was already there. "Doctor Shepherd is Robert ok" I said "Yes, but where were you"  he said. "I was trying to solve the Katie Bryce ca-" "yeah but your priority is this patient don't let it happen again Doctor Y/L" "yes Doctor Shepherd "
I walked out of the room and into a closet I was guessing it was a broom closet because there were broom's everywhere. Then I heard a knock on the door. "Hey Y/N are you in there" I immediately recognized the voice "Ji" I said "let me in" he said I got up and unlocked the door. He stepped inside "are you ok" he said "yeah I just need a hug"  he hugged me  "better" he said "better" I felt something in my stomach like I wanted to throw up I ran Past Ji and into the restroom. I threw up. Ji ran after me. He went into the restroom with me "are you ok" he said with a worried voice "I'm fine". Then Doctor Shepherd walked in "Doctor Y/L are you ok I saw you run in here" "yes I'm fine why is everyone so worried about me" I said. I walked out of the restroom and ran to an call room I need to rest after that, I needed to sleep. The last thing I remember was locking the door and dropping on to the bed.
1 hour later
My shift was officially over I walked outside and saw a lot less people than before. I walked to the intern lounge got to my locker and started changing into my clothes. I was so done and tired and that's when my pager beeped it was Robert 911 page. I ran to his room and I saw a bunch of nurses around him "Doctor Y/L what do we do "said a nurse "heart stopped code blue" said another nurse. "Ok" I said "page Shepherd and Lupercio. Let's shock him I grabbed the paddles ,charge to 100 clear nothing, charge to 200 clear still noting ,ok charge to 300 clear" his heart rate came back thank goodness. That's when Doctor Shepherd showed up "what happend" he said looking at the chart "His heart stopped I brought it back" I said. Good job Doctor Y/L , he noticed I wasn't in scrubs "going somewhere" he said looking me up and down. "My shift ended ,I was changing when I got paged 911 and I got here" I said, he smiled and said "well take a well rested break see you around Doctor Y/L" he said I walked out. I was outside of the hospital when Jane and Ji showed up "Hey guys" I said "Hey" they both said together "Want to go to joes bar it's across the street" Ji said "sure" me and Jane said
