Water rippled gently on the tub, soaking the torn petals belonging to a once glorious rose. Lithius soaked himself deeper into the warmth of the water, fingers running gently across his skin to massage the worries away. The celestial scent of fresh peonies calmed his thunderous mind, sending those memories away into his recycle bin. Outside, the rain stopped and was replaced with different species of birds chirping sweetly. His purple eyes scanned the fresh flowers blooming by the window while pondering about the words Uriel mentioned before leaving for his duties. He sighed, brushing his hair backwards and sucked in the fresh air.

Taking up the delayed trial meant leaving Halion and his messed-up family. The family that seemed too perfect to be true yet within the halls of the mansion, pain and malice floated within it. Lithius delayed the trial multiple times because of the uneasy feelings he concealed. This trial was meant to be executed a hundred and fifty years ago, yet he defied the orders given. Each time he wanted to take it up, he felt a heavy rock sinking his heart into the bottom of the ocean. Lithius wrapped the bathrobe around his cold body, heading out to his wardrobe.

Seeing how Uriel changed across the months and how he does not walk on the same page with Carson, Lithius knew by heart that if he left his family behind, something would happen. Besides, Deminus is not a fan of Uriel even though the youngest is well – known among the guardians of the Sun to be a better wielder than the second eldest. Leaving Halion meant allowing Uriel to be mutilated by Carson. He sighed, putting on his silver robe adorned with the most unique patterns. Drying his hair, Lithius left it to dry, immediately attending to the scroll left untouched on the table.

The scroll was a gift from Lila, the angel of the Planets who faithfully tutored every chosen guardian and guarded every single planet in the universe. Lithius looked up to her ever since he found himself getting attached to planet studies. However, recently, he heard rumours that Lila had been sick. He never believed that angels could get sick, but when he saw it with his own two eyes, Lithius was disturbed. Angels never get sick, yet Lila's poor condition proved otherwise. It was said that Lila caught the rare disease during her patrol in one of the neighbouring planets. Ever since then, planet guardians are forbidden to cross selected borders.

Lithius pocketed the scroll safely. He arranged his way swiftly towards Calista's study who had demanded his immediate presence right after Cyril's ceremony. Planet dust floated around freely in the cylindrical building, filling it with the most magical memories. Within each speck of dust, Lithius could feel the energy radiating from inside. Some were lively while some were drowning within their homes. The forever rotating building served as scenery to anyone who visits the place. Lithius looked around the place, spotting the outstanding light pink door. He smiled, spread his wings and flew towards it. Gently pressing onto the sides of the door, he waited for a few moments till a strong wave of energy sucked him into the hidden space.

"Lithius," Calista's elegant voice echoed through the study, waving her fingers to close the magical door. "I've been waiting for you. Did you make up your mind to accept the trial?"
