"Mortals do not have as much time as we do, which is why they serve as a greater being compare to the angels."
Every angel has to undergo multiple trials. Lithius was sent to Earth to undergo his delayed trials. Due to his unwillingness to particip...

Greenish gates decorated with gold paint welcomed Leticia's silver car proudly as she steered the vehicle to an empty spot under a large tree. Street lamps lit up beautifully adding charm to the twinkling lights on the bicycle. Some of the food trucks were swarmed with kids, demanding their order while the seller laughed at their actions, offering an extra stick of fried fish ball. Helping his sister to carry the bag containing their dinner, he watched Leticia carefully put on her backpack before they headed into the centre of the park. Children ran across the walkway excitedly, blowing bubbles into the night sky.
Searching for an empty spot, Felix felt grateful that Leticia had picked a hut located at the end of the lake. There were not many people there except for a couple who seemed to be staring into each other's eyes so excessively that Felix bet if a meteor were to fall right in front of them, they still would not notice. Trying to suppress a chuckle when the boy almost fell off his seat, Felix sped up upon realizing that Leticia had already set her things down, including the bag of food that contain his favourite meal. Rushing towards her, he settled down eagerly, helping her to undo the knots on the bag.
"No way," Felix giggled, taking the chopsticks being offered by his elder sister, scanning the number of dishes she ordered. "Crystal shrimp dumplings, rice rolls with sweet soy sauce, egg tarts, sesame balls and lotus seed buns. You really are irreplaceable. These are all my favourite ever since I was a child."
Leticia let out a soft chuckle, handing one of the fragrant lotus seed buns to Felix who grabbed it immediately. The soft skin of the bun sent thunders down his veins, triggering the hunger in his system. He can't wait to eat it, but the scent made him want to smell it first. At that moment, he was not sure if it is possible for someone to love the scent of food too much to eat them. He sniffed in the scent of the fresh lotus paste that continuously stung his nose, creating old memories in his head. Lotus paste buns were his family's favourite.
During his childhood years, Felix recalled spending time with his mother at night, rolling the pastes into shape so that they could fit it perfectly into the dough. The both of them often spent time devouring the remaining pastes, resulting in them being overfilled with sweet lotus paste just before bed. He wished he could rewind time to enjoy those moments again, but he knew in reality, he had to move forward. Seeing Leticia munching onto her bun silently, Felix reached out to tap on her shoulders.
"I wanted to apologize for my actions earlier, sister," he said softly, lowering his head, grazing onto the edge of the white bun and swallowed them. "I'm sorry. I know I overreacted. I should not have to spit those words to you. I should not have said those ugly words. I was wrong. You are the best elder sister anyone could ever ask for. I was just so angry, mad and sad that I forgot that I have the one person next to me who is willing to be there for me be it happy or sad. You are there for me when I am sad without laughing at me and you are there to celebrate with me when I am happy. I couldn't ask for more, Leticia. You are already the best."
