Wandering for you soul
Like the times we drove around the city with music blasting, you were so pretty
You could have had it all
But we forget to slow down and drive past points of no return and miss out on songs we haven't heard
Do you regret the fall?
I remember strolls we had so fond
We swear we don't miss it once it gone
Like memories we used to long
And bittersweet myths we almost won
Can't you come back doll?
We hide the pain for brevity
And You're in love with tragedy
You'll reread the story with family
And ignore that it's titled calamity
It soon will take its toll
But the script calls for bloodshed and tears
We won't care when the other's not here
And stay up most nights feeling weird
We'll say we're fine when confronted by peers
But the feeling will never disappear
Is it too late to call?
With no hope at all.
