A song about a departed friend

It's not so easy
To let go of what haunts me
These ghost follow me home
I wish I would have known
It weighs like a half moon
It plays me a sad tune
No it's not so easy
To let it go

Just please don't leave me
Come back and you'll see
We'll have a grand time
Life will turn out fine

I wonder what you're doing
These hours of the night
But the world keeps moving
Whether or not you're all right
What a pointless plight
I wonder where you are
Lost among the clouds
Are you at the homeland
Or at some distant star

Remember those evenings
The sky lit with flames
I'm stuck with this feeling
As ashes rain
I've gone insane
Not one to blame

It's not so easy
I see you in my dreams
The feeling won't free me
By any means
No it's so easy
To let it be

Never the same, never the same
Tired of games
Horrid torment is formin before and-
Just as it was, never can be
Nothing but risk, no gaurantee
Why couldn't I see?
I weep when you leave
Life can deceive
It ain't always sunshine
Love of mine
All left behind , what to find, out of time , looking for signs , can we unwind?  I wouldn't mind,
You say it's hex
I would agree
What happens next?
I don't wanna see
But I sit alone sometimes and think

It weighs like a half moon
It plays me a sad tune
No it's not so easy
Won't see you soon
