three weeks later
brooklyn woke up with a broken heart, as today her, tom, emma, and jacob would all be going back to california, and jacob would permanently be moving there. the siblings had no reason to come back to england as they had no family there anymore.
the past few weeks had been hard on everyone. brooklyn's had to pay bills and just sold the house and her father truck which by far was the hardest thing she's ever had to do.
but jacob moving to la would be the start of something. the current plan was for her and jacob to find a apartment and move in together, but until then, they would be staying with tom in his apartment.

the four thanked the uber driver, exiting the vehicle and grabbing all of their suitcases and walking into the airport and beginning to get their bags packed.
thirty minutes passed as they were now all waiting to hear their flight being called as they all ate chick-fil-a.
finally, after hearing their flight being called, they all quickly threw their trash away and jogged to their gate, not wanting to be left behind.
they all boarded the plane as brooklyn took the window seat and tom sat next to her while emma and jacob sat a row over from them.
