The New Student And The Popular Student (Complete)

Chapter 1

"Is this our new school?" Knuckles asked as he along with his two friends were standing in front of the gate that leads to their school.

"Yeah, you do know where your class is right?" Tails asked Sonic, who was nervous about their first day.

"C-Could you guys take me to my class? I'm kinda nervous for some reason." Sonic asked as he couldn't stop a small stutter from escaping him.

"I can tell. I'm also nervous." Tails couldn't help but chuckle.

They then all went inside the school and walked throughout the corridors and hallways as the three of them were in separate classes. They first arrived at Sonic's homeroom first and said their goodbyes while Sonic sighed nervously to calm himself down before opening the door and stepping inside.

He saw that a lot of students were inside as it looks like the school is quite popular in the country since there's so many students signing up and enrolling. Sonic then took his seat near the window to his left and looked out.

"Don't worry, Sonic. You're going to meet up with Tails and Knuckles again later at lunch." Sonic said to himself to calm down further.

He then looked to his right and saw a albino hedgehog reading a book. He then reminded himself that he should start making new friends there since he doesn't wanna be lonely all the time while separated from his two close friends.

"Um, hello." Sonic started out nervously as the white hedgehog looked towards him and smiled kindly.

"Hi there." He greeted him.

"My name's Sonic. What's your name?" Sonic introduced himself before asking with a smile.

"I'm Silver. Nice to meet you." Silver introduces himself with a smile.

Sonic was surprised that he almost mistook him for a girl by how he looked. Maybe it was just how he was born and in his opinion, Silver looks cute to have those golden eyes and fluffy white chest fur.

"Where did you used to go in your junior high?" Silver started to ask as he put his book down.

"Oh, I used to go to Mobius Junior High." Sonic replied as Silver smiled.

"Cool. I used to go to Drevone Academy." He said as Sonic was taken by surprise yet again.

In his research, that was an elite school where students, who were smart and geniuses, could go. So does that mean Silver is a genius?

"Isn't that an elite school? Shouldn't you be in an elite school as well?" He asked curiously while tilting his head as Silver nodded.

"Yeah but I wanna take a break from the elite school for now. I just wanna go to a normal school like you." He said with a smile as Sonic smiled back.

Sonic was glad that he was able to make friends with another smart person and he's such a super nice guy too!

The teacher soon came in as the students all stopped talking. They then introduce themselves to the class before doing whatever they do on the first day of school. After a while, the bell soon rang signaling it was lunch time as the students all went out like crazy and tried to get to the cafeteria to get their meals before they ran out.

"Hey, wanna join me and my friends at lunch?" Sonic asked as he approached Silver who nodded.

"Sure. I'd love to meet your friends." Silver smiled as Sonic smiled back as they walked out of the classroom and to the cafeteria.

Once they made it, they grabbed their food before Sonic was called to a table where his friends were as there were other students there as well and he guessed that they may also have made some new friends from their classes.

"Hey, Sonic! Come sit here with your friend." Tails waved over to them as the two went to them.

As Sonic and Silver then took their seats, they started to introduce each other as a light purple cat started first.

"I'm Blaze from the Drevone Academy. It's nice to meet you all." Blaze introduced herself with a smile as Silver was surprised by this. Guess he wasn't the only one from Drevone Academy.

"You're from Drevone Academy too? I used to go there as well." Silver said with a smile as she couldn't help but smile back.

"My name's Amy Rose. I'm from Mobius Junior High and I can't believe that I'm in the same school as you all. Your name is Sonic right? I really love your athletic skills. Whenever I see you running in the tracking field, I just can't help but smile. You probably don't know me because I was kinda shy to talk to you back then, but now that we're here. Hi, I'm Amy." Amy said excitedly as Sonic couldn't help but smile shyly at her. Gosh, Amy has a lot of energy.

"H-Hey. Thanks for admiring my athletic skills." He smiled nervously.

"My name's Espio. I'm also from the same school as you." Espio said with a smile as Silver and Blaze smiled.

"I'm Cream from Mobius Junior High too! By the way, Miles right? I really love your two fluffy tails." Cream said with a small hint of a blush as Tails blushed as well.

"Thank you. Anyway, you can call me Tails since my friends call me that." Tails replied with a small blush.

They started to enjoy lunch, talking and laughing together as Amy kept talking about how cool and fast Sonic is which made him feel shy and embarrassed.

Cream almost dropped her food by accident but Silver was able to stop it and caught it with his telekinetic powers as it amazed everyone at the table. Sonic then told him to do it again as he threw his fork up into the air and of course, Silver easily caught it and floated it back to Sonic's plate.

"That's awesome!" Sonic said in amazement while clapping his hands.

Silver blushed at the praise while Blaze saw that and thought that he looked like a stuffed doll. After lunch time, they all went back to their class and started the day again. After a few hours, the school day was over and everyone was all going back home to rest up for the second day.

"Today was great for the first day, huh?" Knuckles asked while stretching his arms.

"Yeah. We even made some new friends too. Do you think that you're gonna like it there, Sonic?" Tails asked as he turned to their blue friend who was walking backwards.

"Yup! Our new friends were sure to be cool." Sonic said cheerfully with a smile as they reached their house and rested up for the day.
