A/N: Let us all pretend that it's still Valentine's Day and that I was able to finish this chapter on time ok???? So happy Valentine's Day!!! Wooo o(*゚▽゚*)o

If you think that the writing is more dramatic than usual, I blame Wuthering Heights for it. Also, I love all of your theories and comments. I wish I could tell you if they're right or not, but you'll get the answer soon :)

Oh, I realized some time ago that a big part of you guys probably don't have a romance language as your mother tongue and words in French (and Italian in this chapter) might be difficult to guess the meaning, so I'll add the translation to every foreign word I use in each chapter in the notes. This is pretty overdue and I even considered stopping using French words at all in the fic, but I'm a sucker for languages and especially pet names in foreign languages, so... yeah. I hope the translation is correct, but if you think it could be improved, just let me know!

Glossary:
- French:
Chérie - darling
Allô - hello (mainly used for answering phone calls)
Joyeuses Pâques - Happy Easter

À plus - see you
Au revoir - goodbye

P.S.: for the song, please google it if you want lmao

- Italian:
Cuore mio - my heart
Addio, amore - goodbye, love
Gatta Nera - Black Cat aka Chat Noir lol

----------

Your hand had just wrapped around a juice bottle's neck when you heard a click.

"Did you hear that?" You put the bottle back and looked around the grocery store, the metal basket digging on your arm.

"What happened?" Adrien walked up to you, holding a piece of Camembert.

You saw movement at the end of the aisle. A man was pointing a professional camera straight at you and Adrien.

"Paparazzi," you whispered, turning to the blond and trying to hide your face. You saw another person with a camera behind Adrien. "Shit. We need to leave."

Adrien grabbed your hand and rushed to the cashier. The other few customers stared as the paparazzi followed you, the clicks of their cameras filling the air. Two bodyguards entered the small store and stopped the paparazzi from getting too close as you paid for the goods. You glanced at the bulky men with astonishment. Adrien must've sent them a message when you weren't looking.

The paparazzi kept calling your name as you got into Adrien's black sports car parked outside while shielding your face with your hand.

You turned around on the passenger seat and looked through the back window as Adrien sped up. The bodyguards were still circling the paparazzi as they tried to follow you.

You slid down the seat, sighing. "How do they know where we are every damn time?"

"They always find a way, I don't know how." Adrien glanced at the rearview mirror. "I think it's better if we don't go out too much."

You sighed. It seemed that even a local grocery store in the outskirts of town wasn't safe.

Adrien removed one of his hands from the steering wheel and grabbed yours. "Don't worry, love. We will be able to go on dates soon."

You smiled at him. "It's alright."

"Did you at least get the Camembert?" Plagg's head poked out of Adrien's pocket.

"Yes, now stay hidden," Adrien said in a hushed tone. "We don't know who could be watching."

Plagg mumbled something under his breath as he disappeared back into the pocket.
