For once in your life, have you wanted to be a part of a good story that you read?

It's understandable for you to feel that way sometimes, for we can always dream to be the main character that always saves the day, or to find the meaning behind their existence.

But for two special people, that dream might become a reality, in an unexpected and magical way.

Today, you're about to witness their story unfold.

Oh My Girl's Dorm, evening

"Mihyun-ah, are you there? Dinner's ready!" Their leader, Hyojung, said as she knocks on the door.

However, Mihyun wasn't answering back, which made her think that she was asleep or listening to music with her airpods.

Hoping that it might be the latter, Hyojung decided to try and open the door. Luckily, it wasn't locked, which prompted her to enter quickly.

But what she saw inside surprised her.

It was Mihyun, and that she's crying while holding a book on her hand.

The sight of her bawling so hard triggered her leader instincts quickly, hoping that she can try to help with a problem she might have.

"Mihyun-ah, why are you crying? Is something wrong?" She asked her out of concern.

"No unnie, it's just that....." Mihyun replied, as she tries to stop herself from crying further.

"This book.....the ending......it hurts....." She said between sniffles, as Hyojung felt relieved that it wasn't anything serious. She can't help but chuckle at the sight of her.

"I see. Well I must say, the sight of you crying like this is completely different from your personality on stage, Mihyun-ah, but it's all right. This book though, was it really that good?"

"Of course it is! It's not just any book, unnie. This is Futurescape, the latest book written by my favorite author, Byun Y/N. I'm telling you, he's the best, and I've been a big fan of his for a long time!" Mihyun said, trying to defend your name from her unnie.

"Okay, I get it! No need to get aggressive on me, I believe you. That said, the ending must be very sad, isn't it?" Hyojung asked her.

"Y-yeah, the male lead died protecting his girl from those lightsaber-wielding CEOs, it was both an epic and sad moment that I ever read. That's how good it was." Mihyun proudly told her.

"Now you got me interested. Can I borrow it now?"

"Umm, I think it would be a better idea if you start reading this one first, unnie." Mihyun said as she took another book from her collection.

"The Last Gunslinger, huh? This looks interesting. I'm getting the feeling that I might become a fan of his, judging from how much you praise him." Hyojung teased.

"You will, unnie. That's how good it is. The first few chapters alone will get you hooked." Mihyun said with a smirk.

"We'll see about that. But before anything else, let's have dinner, okay? The others are already waiting for us." Hyojung said as the two of them stood up.

"Yes, unnie. I'll be right there." She said, as she wipes the tears on her face before joining them.
