As I finally finished setting up for the movie night my doorbell rings. "I'll get it," I yell as I walk to the door. I open it to see Aisha in a skeleton onesie with skeleton slippers to match.
I hug her and usher her into my house. "You look awesome! I actually forgot I was out of popcorn and couldn't make it to the store in time so I ordered us pizza. I hope cheese and pepperoni are cool." I say.

"That's cool with me, I really like your pajamas. I wish I could something like that." Aisha said. "Thanks, but why can't you wear something like this?" I ask confused.
"You know, they don't make stuff like that for girls like me." She said a little sad. "Girls like what?" I ask generally confused. "You know, bigger girls." She explained.
"Nonsense I'm sure you could find something like this online, but if not you could always get them custom made. I do that with some of my clothes, I could always hook you up with my tailor and buy you some," I said hoping to cheer her up.
"Really that would be so cool, thanks, So, what movie are we watching first?" She asked. "Well we could start with Return of the Living Dead, Nightbreed, The Howling, The Lost Boys, Halloween, or A Nightmare on Elm Street," I say.
"The Lost Boys sounds good," Aisha answered. "That's one of my favorites. Michael is so hot." I giggled. "Don't let Eli hear you say that." She said jokingly.
As we were about ten minutes into the movie the doorbell rang. "I'll get it," I said as I jumped up from my bed and ran to the door. Finally, the pizza must be here I'm starving.
I opened the door and felt the cool breeze of the night, no one was at the door. "Uh, hello?" I asked. Right after I asked someone jumped out from the right and yelled. I screamed and jumped back.
Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, pulling me into a hug. "Haha, I'm sorry Kat I couldn't help myself." A familiar voice said. "Eli!" I yelled as I backed up. "What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I wanted to surprise you with movie snacks for you and Aisha." He said as he smiled and gave me blue raspberry sour strips, popcorn, sodas, and chocolate pretzels.
"Awe, Eli you shouldn't have," I said as I kissed him. "Woah, you look amazing." He said. I blushed and was about to thank him until Aisha came to the door.
"Sorry lover boy, it's girls night only, so unless you have girl parts beat it." She said and I stood there laughing.
"Alright, I'll see you guys tomorrow at the field trip," Eli said as he gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and left.
I walked inside with our snacks and not even ten steps in the doorbell rang again. Aisha rolled her eyes and I laughed. Eli must have forgotten something.
I opened the door and this time it actually was the pizza guy. "That will be $10.87 and your number cutie," He said and I gave him the money with a creeped-out smile and took the pizza.
After that, I closed the door and received a third knock. I groaned and opened it. "Yes?" I asked annoyed. "No tip?" He asked. "Here's a tip, I'm seeing someone," I said as I slammed the door in his face and locked the door.
"What a creep," Aisha said as we took our goodies and continued our movie night. "You know, at first I thought you were going to be like those snobby rich girls, but you're actually really nice and fun," Aisha admitted.
"Thanks, you're pretty cool too, and I really don't like those girls. Especially, after they made fun of you and Eli," I replied.
"So what's the deal with Eli? How long have you two been together?" She asked. "Well, he never officially asked me to be his girlfriend, but we've been seeing each other about a month after I met him," I said.
"Maybe Cobra Kai can help him grow a pair," She said and I gave a light-hearted laugh. "I like Eli how he is, he doesn't need to change for me, and I really don't like the Lawrence guy," I said.
"Sensei can be tough, but that's only because he wants us to be tough." She added. "I get that, but Eli already gets bullied enough," I said.
"You can't always fight his battles for him, I know you care about him, but he needs to be able to do that on his own," She said. I knew to some degree she was right, but I can't help myself I feel the need to protect the people I care about.
