"Yeah it was great," I laughed with Tory and Aisha. I turned my attention to Hawk and Demetri as I heard "Oohs" and Demetri covered in beer. "What the hell happened?" I asked as I walked over. "Your psychopathic lover that's what," Demetri snapped and ran off.
"He was getting on my nerves," Hawk said. "Demetri's been a pain in my ass the past couple of days but that's still no excuse to do this to him," I said. "Ooh, you're whipped bro," Mitch laughed. "Shut the hell up," Hawk and I both yelled at him.
"You remember what happened the last time you were a bully don't you?" I whispered in Hawk's ear and his face turned from humorous to serious. "Sorry Princess," Hawk said. "Don't tell that to me tell that to Demetri," I said.
I looked around for Demetri to talk to him and my search came to a quick end when I heard his voice over the microphone. "Excuse me, I'd like to make a toast. To Eli Moskowitz, oh, I'm sorry. Some of you might know him as Hawk."
"But underneath that crazy clown cosplay, and whatever type of Manic Panic he dumps in his hair he's still good old Eli. My binary brother, well he was my binary brother. You know what he is now? A real zero." Demetri said.
"All right, that's enough Demetri," Hawk interjected. "Don't let that angry red hairdo fool you, he's a big softie," Demetri added. "Yeah and I love the big softie," I yelled out. "Oh just you wait Kat, you won't for long."
"Anyways, we watched every Harry Potter movie together. And he bawled like a baby when Dobby died," Demetri said with fake crying sounds. "Alright, if he doesn't shut up, I'm gonna shut him up," Hawk threatened.
"Remember what Sensei said about showing mercy," Mitch added. "In the words of Eli's hero, Steve Jobs, "I've got one more thing." Have any of you heard of sleep enuresis?" Demetri asked. "Don't!" Hawk begged.
"Demetri stop!" I yelled. "That is the medical term, of course. In the King's English, it's good old-fashioned bed-wetting. And Eli here is a pro. My mom even had a special air mattress for sleepovers, and she called it Eli's waterbed," Demetri said and everyone laughed.

I looked at Hawk worried as his anxiety was showing. "It's okay, it's okay. You wanna just get out of here?" I asked as I placed my hand on his shoulder. Hawk shook his head and before we made it to the door Demetri stopped us.
"Let's not forget Hawk's pretty little girlfriend, or are you two not official again? I can't keep track these days. I mean you did just lay down with him upstairs so I would hope so, or does he still kiss Moon when you make him mad?" Demetri said until Hawk cut him off.
I gasped as everyone laughed around us. "Screw mercy. You're a corpse!" Hawk yelled and stepped forward with the rest of the Cobras including myself. "You're gonna have to go through me," Chris said as he got in front of us.
"Stay out of it traitor," Mitch said. "Hey, don't touch him," Robby said as he got in front of us as well. "Or what?" Aisha asked. "Guys stop we're friends," Moon interjected. "Shut the fuck up Moon," I snapped. "Oh, I smell a rumble!" Stingray yelled.
Before anyone could act the color of red and blue flashed against the living room. "Cops!" Someone warned. "Come on we have to get out of here," Hawk said as he grabbed my hand. I shoved his hand away from me.
"I'll find my own ride just leave me alone," I yelled and ran with Aisha. "Demetri, you got lucky. I'll see you in school!" Hawk shouted from behind. I saw a sober Miguel and shouted for him. "Miguel! Take Hawk home so he's safe," I yelled. "Okay!" Miguel shouted and ran behind me.
As Aisha and I got in her car I couldn't help but become a ball of tears. "It's okay Kat," Aisha nurtured me. "You think what Demi said could be true? Could Hawk still be involved with Moon after what he did at the beach?" I asked distraughtly.
"Kat there's no way in hell Hawk is cheating on you. He loves you way too much. He can be a dumb guy sometimes, but never dumb enough to cheat on the girl he loves," Aisha reassured me. "Thanks Aisha," I said.
