Lisa's mom and Yuri's mom were best friends. The three (BamBam, Lisa and Yuri) were really good friends. After years Lisa and Yuri only saw each other again in an award show, they then gave each other their contact to not lose contact again. Yuri is one of IU's best friends.
Yuri appeard in "Hotel De Luna" as IU's fierce cold friend. They have a lot in common. On IU's free days they will usually went out to bond. They also dyed their hair together and took a picture together and posted it in twitter, it went viral with the hashtag #iu&Yuri. They have the same personality that they have in common.
