Pain, too, is only a memory.
Something that could be forgiven, but never forgotten.

"How are you feeling?" The two toned hair man asked as he smiled at me. His comforting aura making me content.

"I'm okay, Bokuto. You can stop asking me." I laughed and grabbed his arm as we walked through the park. The morning light making me smile.

"Okay. Okay. How about we head over to breakfast? Our reservations soon." He laughed and took a look at his watch, the gold accenting his eyes. I couldn't help but admire him, he was handsome.

"Sounds good." I tugged on his coat and we continued our walk, the fall leaves scattered on the ground as the cool breeze brushed against our skin. I sunk my head deeper beneath my scarf, my hot breaths making the wool material moist. My eyes travelled all around the park as we continued on the path. Children playing on the structures and their parents watching for any injuries.

"Hey, can I ask you something?"

"Sure." I replied and connected my eyes with his.

"I'm having a game, next Sunday, and I was wondering... Would you like to cheer me on?" He asked looking for an answer within my eyes. I was taken aback by his question, thinking he would ask about Ushijima.

"Id love too! I'll check my schedule with Aiya and I'll let you know." I squeezed his arm tighter and he smiled back, nodding his head as we neared the exit of the park.

Our hats covering our identities as we got closer, some people wondering who the sketchy couple were. We just laughed and kept our heads down, hoping that nobody would call us out.

"Do you remember when you came to training camp?" He asked suddenly, his hand wrapping around my shivering shoulders.

"Oh, yeah! And you went all emo mode on me." I laughed and he blushed. I pinched his side and he laughed softly with me.

"Yeah. To be honest, I was kinda jealous of Ushijima. When I found out you guys were together. I always wondered why you would date that rock, but I mean... no judging here." He put his hands up defensively, but I couldn't help but wonder why he was jealous.

"Jealous? Of him?" I asked and jumped over a crack in the concrete.

"Yeah. I thought you were really beautiful, and you still are. Maybe even more." He stopped walking, turning to me and grabbed my chin to make me look back. I watched as his tongue swiped across his lips before he placed his hand behind my head, leaning in..

As he placed his lips on mine, one thing I took notice of was the way my heart raced. The same way it did with Ushijima when he kissed me. But he , in fact, wasn't on my mind. It was only on the way this gorgeous man just kissed me, and kept on as our lips moved together. His hand meeting the small of my back as mine reached around his neck. Barely on the tips of my toes as he tilted his head down.

"Let's get going." I chuckled against his lips and he nodded his head. Our cheeks dusted pink as we continued our walk.

Sunday
The day of the game...

The loud buzzer, crowds of people, yelling of players. It could all be heard as I sat beside Kuroo in the little compartment, a bag of popcorn in my lap and Kuroo with his many other employees. Since he worked for the Japan's Volleyball Association, it was easy to get tickets for games.

The front of the suite was glass-less as it looked down onto the court, the many fans all wearing MSBY merch and Schweiden Adlers.

But when my mind finally comprehended who they were playing and who I would see, the game had already started. The arena going black as they started to introduce the players.
