Chapter 18 "Swan bit the apple"

As of now the clock was ticking swan had bit the apple the poison inside it slowly consumed every inch of her body once the poison reached her heart there was no coming back. Her only salvation was magic the one magic no one cant understand true love, A kiss of swans true love could save her from the poison. Regina was having trouble dealing with her fathers death, she leaves her fathers room with the letter in her hands she looks at it with fear of what she is about to find out. Her father died wanting for her to find happiness regina needs to make her fathers last will come true she owes it to herself. She opens the letter and reads it in her mind.

            "Dear Regina, this is not easy for me as it will be for you, I've been a terrible father. I have lied to you and destined you to suffer. Its all my fault for not fighting for what i believe in and for not confronting your mother. Your mother is responsible for that girls life swan, she murdered her parents for power and she abandoned her to the woods. Your mother took care of swan until she was 9 years of age she wanted to keep her as a servant for our castle but when she found out that people where looking for her and that she was pre engaged to prince robin she vanished her into the dark forest on her own to die. Your mother found out about you and swan she did everything in her hands to separate you from her. That night when you found me in the hallways about to die your mother had my heart in her hands she was controlling me. I was never sick your mother needed you to marry prince robin so she manipulated you by saying i was dying. I'm so sorry y darling this is all my fault I've should stood to your mother but i was never brave enough. You need to find swan and be happy, your mother called that man to take swan away from you. Regina i know your brave you need to fight for love, I was never able to find it with your mother. True love is magic you cant let it go I love you sweetheart and i hope you can forgive me one day."

Regina cries with anger as she finished reading the letter, she couldn't believe her fathers words. She stands speechless taking her time to process what she just found out "Regina?" cora says walking towards regina "I just found out about your father". Regina wont fall for her fake cries she wont fall for anything her mother says anymore "this is all your fault" she says furiously "He died because of you" regina yells. You could see in cora's eyes how frightened she was at that moment "regina why are you talking to me like that I'm your..." Regina wont let her mother finish her sentence, regina uses her magic and pushes her mother to the wall. Cora falls to the ground with pain "you killed my father, you manipulated me enough but now I'm getting my true love back" regina says to her mother as she slowly stands up "lets just hope your not too late" cora says wickedly. Regina looks at her mother confused by her words, cora disappears in a cloud of purple smoke "what could she possibly mean?" regina asked herself. There was no time for this regina needs to leave as soon as possible "swan" regina murmured, she runs and opens the door "Regina!" killian shouts as she opened the door "what are you doing here?" regina asked. Killian looked alarmed and out of breathe "it's swan, she's in great danger". Regina gasped at the news who could have done this? Her mother? There was no explanation to what was happening regina panics and starts to loose control of her thoughts "what happened? Where is she?" She yells "she was poisoned, once the poison reaches her heart it will be too late". Regina was up for a task as now she really needed to fight to save swan "we need to get to may ship and leave" Killian directed "no need for that" regina magically poofs them to the village of swans castle. The village was quite and there where guards everywhere, luckily regina poofed them behind a wall where no one could see. The guards stand in every corner making sure there was no one out, it was sundown already and regina and Killian needed to move fast. There just a few steps away from the castle, swan was at the very top of the castle "ok this should be easy, I'll just magically poof us to swans room" regina whispered "no, that's a bad idea" Killian disagreed "why?" Regina humbled "because this castle is protected by magic, whoever is doing this is powerful and if you use magic they'll catch us" he says "what do you suggest then?" Regina asked. Funny thing how killian was actually really smart, regina feels grateful that killian is helping her so much "your going to need one if these" Killian takes out his sword "oh, this one?" Regina magically pulls a sword out "oh! Right, your magic" they both prepare themselves to fight. A running horse approaches the village from the castle, it's James. He gets down the horse to speak to the guards "Hello there james" Killian walks towards James "we'll look who we just found" James pulls off a Evil tone "I came back for swan" Says Killian. Of course James was never trust worthy he was part of this killing swan plan too, it was all too good to be true "you did this to swan, you won't get away with it" Killian threats James with his sword "Says who a cold hearted pirate like you" Killian laughs "cold hearted you say". Killian and James start to sword fight the guards surrounded him, they all fight stopping him from defeating them. One after the other killian tries his best to stop them all, he kicks them, stabs them with his sword. That was the signal for regina to walk in the castle, as killian fights with the guards regina runs slowly through the side of the wall "where do you think your going" James stops regina pointing the sword on to her neck. James grabs regina violently and pushes her towards killian "you think it would this easy" James laughs "your both fools" he continues. Guards surround them leaving them no way out "kill them" James ordered as he gets on his horse and leaves back to the castle. Back to back regina and Killian prepare there swords to fight "we're never going to get pass them on time" regina feared, both start to fight the knights. Regina on one side and Killian the other, more and more guards appeared it was never ending "regina just go, you need to save swan go!" Killian yells leaving a clear path for regina. The entrance of the castle was blocked by a protection spell "this won't stop me" she uses all her strength and power to remove the spell, she successfully removes it with her magic. Regina runs in, no fighting guards or evil uncle that's odd. She walks into a room where the floor was cracked and smoke was coming out like if there was lava underneath, regina walked slowly thru the floor the stairs where just a step away. Regina stumbles as the floor cracked more and the heat from the smoke burned her skin, she falls on her knees frightened that she won't make it to swan. The crumbled red lava floor reminded regina of her life. She's always been scared, always hidden and running from every opportunity of happiness that she had. The lava was her fears consuming her, she was always scared that if she walked thru that floor she would fall and no one would rescue her. Regina's problem was that she never had the reason to walk thru that floor with no fears, but now she has it. Swan gave her the strength she needed in that moment to walk thru that floor and nothing could stop her now "Hello regina" Cora appears magically in front of her "mother!" Regina exclaimed. Cora stands in front of the stairs blocking the way "step aside mother, I don't want to hurt you" regina demands "well that's a relief" Cora pushes regina with her magic, throwing her down cracking the floor even more. Regina still had sensibility and didn't want to hurt her mother, but she had no choice. None of this would have happened if someone would have put a stop to cora was regina the one to finally defeat cora? The answer could have been in regina's hands all this time she had dark magic but she also had something cora didn't white magic.
