Chapter 5 "weakness or strength"

Fire and passion grew, as swan and  regina began to feel in love. The intensity and temptation in the moment they couldn't resist. That soft yet sensual kiss will mark them forever. Swan had something that made regina felt amorous, she could feel her brushing her fingers thru her neck as she kissed her. Uncontrollable thoughts from regina all she wanted was to be with swan in that perfect moment. Until regina stopped and pushed swan back, fear takes over her "regina.." swan mentioned. Regina won't listen to swan so she runs out of the cabin "Regina!" Screamed swan as she sees regina run into the forest. Broken dreams and hopes fill into regina's heart, several days have passed and she hasn't looked for swan not even one escape to the forest anymore. Her life is back to before she meet swan miserable and depressed. The kingdom rejoiced as they prepared for a ball to Celebrate king Henry's birthday. The kingdom filled with the best foods and wine, every corner decorated with gorgeous roses. Shinning chandeliers with golden crystals, a dashing night for everyone to enjoy except regina. While she sat on her dresser starring at her reflection. A stunning lavander gown with a simple v neck long sleeved with violet crystals surrounding her shoulders it sure was beautiful. Her hair pined up along with a silver crystal tiara. Dress, hair, make up and a fake smile to go with it all. Regina's not very good at these balls they have no meaning to her, she only wanted to attend because it was to celebrate her father. Everyone is almost here, carriages arrived one after the other cora at the entrance received everyone as they arrived. The kingdom looked elegant for everyone who was welcomed, not including swan which she observed from far away. She wondered where is regina?  What will she be wearing? And how can I get to see her from this angle? "Darn it" swan says to herself hiding in a bush watching as everyone arrived at the ball. With the hope she could get a glimpse of regina "this won't work, she was right" swan sits back on the tree behind her. How can something so wrong feel so right? She's the only thing that's ever felt real for swan. People always pushed her away untrusted, unworthy they called her. The girl that will never be loved or will never be better than a thief but swan never cared about all those things until she meet regina. Regina gave her the reason to change it all, she made her the person she wanted to be instead of the person she is. "I can't let her go" swan stands up she's never been so sure of anything "I'm getting in that castle". Regina's almost ready she's still in her room trying for her tears to not win over her "honey are you ready?" Cora walks in regina's room "yes mother almost" regina answers "well hurry up darling, because everyone is almost here and i want you to meet someone" Cora continues "yes mother I'll be down any minute" regina's fake smile is pretty good, cora walks out back to the ball. For the record swan is called a thief, how was it that she got called a thief? Breaking in places of course. This quest wasn't easy for her tho she's never broken in a castle, it's a mission for her. Swan startles as she hears some knights in their horses guarding the surroundings of the castle, an idea clicks on her head as she hides behind a tree. It was dark out but the knights had torches that illuminated their path, one of the knights stand close to the tree were swan was. The knight and the horse are steady keeping watch he would never imagined that.. bam! Swan hits the knight with a thick branch right on the head "I got this" she says with victory. Swan used some of the knights accessories takes the horse and heads towards the castle. No better disguise than one of the castles knights, swan doesn't risk it so she goes behind the castle where no one was watching. All the guest where inside enjoying the ball so no more carriages on the way, swan leaves the horse jumps the wall and in the garden she goes. She sees two windows both with lights on. Is that regina's window? Or is that one? "Darn it" she expressed. There's no turning back so up she goes, she takes off her knight disguise and leaves her black cape on. Swan starts climbing the wall her black cape camouflaged with the walls. she makes it to window number one, no one's in there. "No regina ok window number two" swan says puffing. Regina's still in her room in her bed thinking about swan. How she made her happy in only the few times she saw her "oh how I miss those beautiful green eyes" regina thought. One last look at the mirror before she makes it to the ball "ok regina" she breathes deeply "it's time" she wipes away her tears and her fake smile is up now for 2 hours straight. Regina's about to walk out her room, she stops as she hears a noise at her window. She looks at the window terrified "who's there?" She yells reaching for a sword that was next to her dresser. The noise at her window continues as swan has trouble getting inside "regina" she yells. It's her it's swan! The nerves kick in as regina gets closer to the window. "Regina!" Swan smiled as regina opened the window and helped her get in. Swan expands her arms and hugs regina, the feeling of having each other in their arms was magical. A wide smile on swans face and tears of joy "I thought I'd never see you again" swan looks at regina's dress "wow you look angelical". Swans smile, red cheeks, pink lips and oh those big green eyes was all regina wanted, regina was still in shock that she had swan right in front of her. She yet fakes to be upset "why are you here? do you know how much trouble you'd would've gotten into if someone sees you?" Regina's angry voice comes in but swan still had that precious smile on her face "I don't care because it was all worth it to see you" swans smile is weakness for regina. She can't resist to her charms so regina hugs her holding her in her arms so tight she never wanted to let go of her. Regina was thrilled but confused, love is weakness as her mother said those words tormented her everyday. How could she ever have love? It wasn't meant for her that's all she could think of so she pushes swan away. "You need to leave before my mother sees you" regina's heart broke as she started walking away from swan "no I won't leave.." swan stops regina by holding her arm "I'm not leaving with out you regina" swan continues. Her words hit regina's heart like lightning how can she make me feel so happy but wrecked at the same time? "Do you hear yourself swan?" Regina turns and looks at swan in her eyes "this is insanity its.." regina's voice expressed fear and sorrow her cries weren't of joy like swans were a minute ago. "This will never work it's dangerous" regina continues "why are you so afraid regina? You can't keep living like this" swan interrupts and gets closer to regina "you don't know the kind of mother I have, she will never accept you" regina Sobbed "she will kill you with no mercy". Plans changed in swans mind, if this love was danger so be it love will never be perfect she thought. Swan puts her hands on regina's cheeks and slowly wipes her tears away "if this love is danger I will fight for it, I'd rather die if i don't have you" swan tears up as she says the words that come from her heart. Swans never been so honest in her life, she could literally take her heart out and put it in regina's hands that's how much she loved her. Regina grabs swans hands touching her face, she could hear her heart beating so fast but slow at the same time. Maybe all regina needed was hope, was someone to fight for so she takes a leap of faith and smiles at swan. "I have everything planned out just meet me tomorrow morning at the spot where we first meet and I'll tell you the escape plan" swan says glazing at regina.  A small and passionate kiss comes along, their heads bumped against each other regina wanted to get one last look at swans flaming yet dazzling eyes. Swan gives regina one last kiss before she leaves making her way to the window as she doesn't want to let go of regina's hand "I'll see you tomorrow my princess" swan says letting go of her hand and climbs down the wall. Regina makes her way to her mirror again, she sees a different face than what she saw earlier.  This seemed too good to be true, is this really it? This is all she ever asked for. Her smile could not be wiped away she was too happy thinking about swan "is this really love?" Regina asked herself looking at her reflection. For moment regina still seemed confused her mind told her one thing and her heart another. Is love really weakness or strenght?
