Meeting my maternal famiglia

Jeremiah's POV
Everyone but Lena was awake and downstairs all in our loungewear talking about our family and how they are going too react too Lena "so Elijah you can have the honour of waking up Lena she needs too come eat breakfast then we can tell her too get ready too meet our family and go for our usual meal and after all of you can go shopping for the ball" I spoke calmly too my nephew but deep down I was afraid of their reactions too Lena they'd never met her and I was afraid they may blame me hopefully they let me explain first Elijah looked and me smirking stood up and walked away too awaken our little sweetheart

"Papa we can tell you're nervous but don't be they'll love Lena who wouldn't she's amazing we just have too explain everything too them first"Asher spoke too me reassuringly I nodded and smiled at him silently thanking him and he nodded back then Lena groggily walked in and sat next too me leaning over kissing me on the cheek and mumbling greetings too everyone who all just chuckled telling her too eat and explaining that she should dress up too meet our family and for the meal she just nodded eating her food quietly until Adam gave her a mug of tea and she woke up quickly and started smiling and then bounded out of the kitchen saying she needed too figure out what too wear

Lena's POV
I quick woke my self up after getting my fix of tea too say Adam was raised in America he makes the perfect British tea I smiled greatfully  at him and excused myself I need too figure out what too wear for our family dinner and I needed too make a good first impression from how nervous papa seemed too be I knew that this had too go well so I walked into my closet looking through all my new things and came across the perfect outfit I'm not usually very girly but I decided on a nice dress some white heeled boots and a scarf too go around my shoulders as my collar bone is the one injury that hasn't healed yet plus I have my tattoo to hide as well

Once I was dressed I spritzed on some amazing smelling perfume that papa had gifted me loosely curled my hair and did natural make up
As I'm not a make up lover anyways and then walked out of my room bumping into atticus who just gawked at me "I honestly don't look that bad do I ?" I muttered too myself but atticus heard me and started shaking his head "Tesoro you look divine I was just shocked is all you're usually not the girly type but you look amazing" I beamed at him and took his out stretched arm walking downstairs

We came towards the front door where my father was pacing back and fourth as Eli just smirked at him enjoying his torment I shook my head at him as he turned too look at me and he just shrugged his shoulders walking up too me and smiling "you look as stunning as ever cousin" he cheekily smiled at me as everyone looked at me wide eyed and began too compliment me and I felt my cheeks heating up and atticus smirked at me as I rolled my eyes "well you all look amazing too in your suits and thank you I thought I'd make an effort for once" I replied smirking right back at atticus

Then the front door opened and everyone was quick too stand in front of me shielding me from the middle aged and elderly couple with a troupe of boys behind them I laughed at their protectiveness "ahhh my son good too see you again along with my grandsons but I must ask who's the young lady you were quick too hide?" The elderly man who I assumed is my grandfather questioned eyeing my dad who gulped in response Adam then cleared his throat looking between me and everyone in front of him and gently grabbed my arm pulling me forward "everyone this is my sister Alena and you're granddaughter grandpa" he spoke calmly taking control

The middle aged lady who I'm assuming is my aunt looked at me wide eyed and gasped "she looks like amelias double but I don't understand"she spoke shakily while everyone stared at me "Amelia was my mother she left me in London leaving me with a few letters before she died papa and my brothers only came too find me recently through dna as my foster parents died it's nice too meet you all" I spoke confidently smiling at my now teary eyed aunt who ran and hugged me smiling at me as a laughed a little she pulled back "I'm rya your aunt and this is Francesco your uncle these are my children Elijah I'm assuming you've already met then Dante,Damian,enzo and my youngest valerio

I smiled and waved at them the younger two smiled and waved back the youngest looked very giddy the other two just nodded staring at me trying too figure me out I then turned too my grandparents my grandmother was crying and my grandpa looked thunderous and began storming towards me Leon put a protective hand on my shoulder as I flinched back from my grandfather who looked at me guilty I realised from me moving my scarf fell off and my extended family including Elijah gasped and I looked at my still healing collar bone and looked too my father afraid

Noticing my look he rushed too my side picking up my scarf and wrapping it back around me as silent tears began too fall I was getting overwhelmed and felt a panic attack coming on I looked over my fathers shoulder too Adam who realised what was happening he too me from my fathers hold placing me on his chest "lee listen too my heartbeat follow it you're okay they can't hurt you you're safe we're not judging we promised okay rember"he spoke softly I let out a shaky breath composing myself and stepped away "I'm okay sorry I just got overwhelmed" I spoke out looking around

"My love I'm sorry I didn't mean too scare you but my child please what happened too you you're injury looks bad" my grandfather spoke softly reaching out and pulling me in for a hug shocking me I managed too hug him back slightly "I'm fine this is my last injury it's still healing I'll be fine soon Leon took care of it" I replied blankly "last injure you had more who dared too hurt you I'll kill them" my grandmother spat out angrily I smiled too her chuckling "nonna you can't kill someone who's already dead but thank you" she smiled sadly at me as everyone stared at me and all came over too hug me including my two cousins who were looking murderous
