Meeting the family

Lena's POV
I grabbed my bag from the corner of the room and grabbed the only other pair of clothes I brought with me and headed into the bathroom too shower and get prepared for a day of ignoring my new found brothers I scoffed at the thought I should of just been put in foster care it was only for two more years and it'd of been so much easier I kept thinking about my life back in London as the expensive shower was washing away the last of the blood from my hair and body stepping out the cold air hit me like little needles but why was it so cold had I left a window open or something? Brushing the thought away I quickly got changed into a baggy jumper and black ripped jeans then brushed my teeth while slowly applying make up too my ever so slowly fading bruises I hissed slightly in pain as the beauty blender dabbed a particularly painful bruise on my cheekbone once I was finished I grabbed my things and headed back into the room where I was staying only too scream out of shock by what I was greeted with there was a boy around my age going through my bag that was on my bed moments after the scream had left my lips this boy had me pinned against what I think was the closet door his grip tightened around my neck as flashbacks started too hot him and tears slowly formed in my eyes and that's when I heard a stompede of feet

Asher's POV
We were all downstairs finishing breakfast and getting ready too eat breakfast when we heard a terrified scream we all looked too each other fear evident on our faces and ran in the direction of Lena's room when we got there Leon was the first too burst through the door and what was on the other side broke my heart Dylan atticus's friend had Lena pushed against her closet door iron grip in her throat as she stood shaking like a leaf and tears in her eyes surprising atticus was the first too jump into action running over and ripping Dylan away from our baby sister as she slid down the door still shacking Adam slowly approached her gathering her gently in his arms id not seen this side of him in a long time he just sat there with her looking up at him almost crying and he comforted her letting her know it was okay while both Leon and atticus reprimanded Dylan most of what I could make out was "what the hell were you thinking she's my baby sister why in hells name would you do this and think this was okay?!" Dylan sheepishly answered them both remorseful and regretful "I didn't know she was your sister I thought she was an intruder or a spy I'm so sorry" Leon scoffed and told him too go downstairs before he messes up again he followed his orders with a raging atticus trailing behind him

Adams POV
"Leon Asher out now and do not protest I will handles this myself and Lena will be downstairs within ten minutes do you understand?" I spoke too then with authority and they both nodded their heads and walked out while I looked into this small girls eyes I saw so many raw emotions and I could tell this wasn't the first time this happened too her and my theory was proven right when she lifted her arm too her throat and her hoodies sleeve rode down a bit I saw bruise marks a particulary large one that was hand shaped on her wrist when she followed my line of eyesight she quickly lowered her sleeve and hid it behind her back and her worried face was quickly composed and replaced with a cold uncaring look that even frightened me and as my nickname as lucifer not many things phase me slowly she got too her feet and I got up with her glaring at her I reached down too grab her arm when she hissed in pain and retracted it she glared at me a glare that bore into my soul one that so many believe I don't have sending a shiver down my spine before I could react she was walking out of the room I followed behind her not sure what she was hiding but I was going too find out no matter what it was my job too I steered her into the direction of the kitchen where all the boys were already eating when she entered everyone shifted in their seats unsure on what too say especially with the cold look on her face but of course Dylan was the first too pipe up "sorry about before I just thought you were well never mind but I'm sorry it won't happen again I'm Dylan by the way your brothers friends" he spoke while nudging a very displeased atticus in the ribs

"Okay time for formal introductions Lena we all already know you but you don't know us I'm Adam I'm the eldest I'm 25 I work with our father in his business as well as Leon who you've already met he's 23 but also works in the medical field then there's atticus who's 18 he's a senior at the high school you'll be attending and will mostly likely go too college for football and later on join the family business as well and then there's Asher he's closest in age too you and also goes to the same school as you and you two will also be sharing a few of the same classes as you are ahead in most of your classes but at this school I expect you too be on your best behaviour" I said narrowing my eyes at her too show her I've seen her school record there was w short amount of heys I didn't feel the need too introduce Adam as he already did that himself

Lena's POV
I just nodded at them all slipping into a seat next too Leon as he gestured for me too sit down I reached over the table making sure my sleeve didn't rise I didn't want a repeat of earlier and grabbed an apple my ribs were still in pain so as I sat back down I subtly grabbed hold of the hoping for the pain too reduce but it was giving up everyone was busy talking amongst themselves but luckily or unluckily for me Adam was the only one not included in the conversation I just sat staring contemplating wether too ask him or not he looked up probably sensing I was staring at him and said "Lena what can I do for you"
"Do you have any painkillers"I got out and everyone's heads snapped towards me eying me probably shocked at me speaking but they also looked at me questioningly perhaps they wondered what I needed with pain relief but I was bound too tell them so I quickly covered up my scared face and replied too my own question "I have a headache so do you have any pain relief" Adam simply stood up and motioned for me too follow him we went down a hall into a large black and white marble styled bathroom as Adam opened up the cabinet I couldn't help but think what the family business was I mean these people were filthy rich as I took the tablets handed too me Adam spoke too me sternly "don't think I forgot about earlier I want too know what the f*ck happened too your arm" I flinched as he swore as it reminded me of them his sharp look quickly eased up as he noticed me flinch with that he just walked out that was a good thing tho I could come up with a lie too explain the bruise it shouldn't be too hard I can be very imaginative when I want too be I replaced the smirk on my face with an unbothered look and walked back towards the kitchen not before I stupidly bumped into a maid like really a maid ? Their capable of taking care of their self like jeez I fell backwards with a thump as she spilled the contents of the tray she was holding next too me with a loud crash I went too pull myself up but placed my palm in some broken glass there was a deep long cut running across my palm with glass sticking out and blood running over my hand panick began too rise as I saw the blood as it was just another reminder of them and the life I'd left behind all off w sudden two arms came behind me wrapping around my waist and before I could react pulled me too my feet all my brothers were in the doorway towards the kitchen staring at me so who the hell picked me up? I spun around too be greeted by an older looking man and then heard three gasps and one "sh*t" from atticus and with that the man picked up my hand looking at the deep cut and winced at the sight of it

Jeremiah's POV
I had finished my work trip early and had come through the back entrance when I turned around and saw my daughter absentmindedly bump into one of the maids clearly deep in though she was like here mother that way I suppose she landed backwards hard and it clearly would of hurt but she didn't react only trying too pull herself up but retracted her hand and looked down I slowly went behind her and picked her up when she noticed her brothers in the door way looking at us she spun around frantically searching for who I was then I heard gasps I followed the eyes and picked up her hand and it looked bad and she should be in a lot of pain but she seemed unbothered like it was only a minor inconvenience "Leon get over her now" I shouted for my son as he's medically trained "yes father" he replied rushing too Lena's side as she heard his reply her eyes widened and she looked me in the eyes searching them as if wanting too know my deepest secrets "hello my love nice too finally meet you and yes you heard it right I'm your father" she just looked up at me pain evident in her face but it wasn't physical pain "hello Jeremiah" she was retorted coldly and with attitude too which Adam was about too scold but I rose my hand too dismiss him she flinched and backed away from me as if I were too hit her all the attention was now back on her and she looked over too Leon for help too which he complied telling her too come with him too his home practice as she'd need stitches we all stood there confused why would she assume I would hit her ? I'd never do anything too hurt her she was my little sweetheart and I loved her already
