Lena was giggling in my fathers lap her eyes shining she really was our little star shining in the dark she was soon engrossed in conversation with her aunts and my father nodded too me I knew immediately he wanted too know what happened too our girl I nodded motioning my mother along with Vincenzo and lia they can tell the rest of the family later when they return home they all nodded standing up Lena looked confused but my sister in laws soon busied her asking for plans too do for the rest of the day when our meeting was over Lena looked excited I'd ask her what we were doing later

We strolled into my office adam had decided too come too everyone took a seat on the chairs and sofas he stood leaning against the window clearing my throat I began "so as you may have guessed Lena had a rough start in life she's been apart of the mafia long before she knew of us and we of her she was in London a foster home there was drug and alcohol abuse and the neglect that comes along with that landed in Lena and another person there Lena does not speak of she's fierce and strong and didn't break so I suggest you don't treat her as such because as she's threatened she will treat you coldly" I ended the speech with a small chuckle

Vincenzo POV
I was infuriated and what makes it worse was Lena already told us they were dead they deserve a worse fate than they were given "our Tesoro she's not any mafia princess she's a deadly one smart and talented I hope you all realise she's hiding much more though"I breathed out too my family they all looked confused but adam slightly smirked "true grandfather but she'll tell us the rest when she's ready" I nodded clearly he knows something but I won't push it "okay mi familia let's go spend the day with our little star hmmm" I spoke calmly everyone nodded getting up and walking too the living room where we heard screaming and shouting we all quickly drew our guns walking in we couldn't help but laugh

I looked around the room at everyone smiling at me well maybe except for Adran and Michail but that's understandable I looked back up too my grandfather's eyes tears pooling in my own his face turned from happy too panicked nonna caught on looking at me "what's wrong are you hurt Tesoro" she spoke alarmed and put everyone else on alert they all stiffened "sorella are you okay is it your shoulder put your sling back on" Leon spoke panicked but that made tears harder too hold back and the dam broke wide open and soon enough I was full blown sobbing I looked over too adam who understood and paced over too me taking me in his own arms with a pained expression on his face
