A Chance To Cuddle

"Hey, Do you know who the man in the courtyard is? Hes been staring in the balconey of my dorm, and some say he was inside the omega dorms last night." Hueningkai saw the guy in the courtyard now that the sun was down and scowled.

Soobin winced when hueningkai ripped a bit too hard at the face mask, distracted by the man.

"Hes probably a pervy alpha patroling, like I had too, ignore him. If he makes you uncomfortable, we should report him." Soobin felt the satisfaction of hueningkai getting the facemask off in one piece.

"All done! Yay you look so pretty!! ....why would i do that when im going to have a strong alpha beside me until his mark fades?" Hueningkai went to the mirror to take his own off.

A-a strong alpha?

Soobin curled in a blush and felt his heart patter in a rhythm.

No ones called me a strong alpha before...

Hueningkai stood and threw rhe face mask away, but got dizzy and caught himself on the wall.

"Kai-?!" Soobin felt his body react before his head. Was it alphas instinct?he never reacted so quickly.

"I- im cold...." hueningkai furrowed his brows for a second, confused at why he suddenly felt cold.

"Here, lay down ill call taehyun." Soobin helped hueningkai to his bunk under the blankets and dialed taehyun on his phone, biting his lop waiting for him to answer.

"....Hello? Soobin??its 9 at night whats wrong?" Taehyun grumbled, checking the time on his phone before talking.

"Hueningkai feels cold suddenly, got dizzy. Im supposed to take care of him, but you didnt exactly give me an omega care book...." soobin watched hueningkai start gathering up pillows, and swirling his blanket.

"Im sorry that YOU couldnt help but mark him. Where is he now?" Taehyun sighed and sat up, brushing his bed head from his face.

"Hes in my bed.....messing up my pillows and blankets?" Soobin watched, thinking he was building a fort.

"Ohhhh soobin hes nesting you dimwit, he was in heat but you marked him, so hes just finishing the heat cycle." Taehyun wanted to smack soobin for ruining his sleep over a simple problem.

"The heat cycle??...then will i hav-have to-" soobin had four major voice cracks in the sentence and whispered it into the phone.

"-DONT! say....what you were going to. No. You wont have to- satify his mating needs if you care for him right. A mark should be enough." Taehyun very casually shut soobins fears down, hearing a huge sigh over the phone, followed by laughing.

"I cant believe you just said satisfy his mating needs...thats the most president thing youve said!!! Thanks tyun, get good sleep." Soobin laughed softly and let taehyun hang up.

Soobin turned around to a pouty hueningkai staring at him. "Can we cuddle? Since were temporary mates, i just- i dont know why i really need you to just cuddle me." Hueningkai was rather bold, not hiding what he was feeling because of the mark.

Is he not bothered a bit by this?you cant casually ask for cuddles??!!

But....if im technically his mate right now, so-

"Soobin? Please?" Hueningkai sounded a bit sad the second time, and soobin hurried to the bed to comfort him.

"Well, this is not what i had planned....but it works..." yeonjun sighed to himself, feeling beomgyu wrapped around him like a blanket burrito in dead sleep.

He talks in his sleep...

He takes up the whole bed....

And he pet me calling me a good kitty...

Yeonjun couldnt tell if he was annoyed, or found it extremely cute. Either way, seeing a more domestic side of beomgyu made him question his intentions even more.

He did want to be friends, but was it because the little alpha was pretty and delicate? Or did he actually like beomgyu?

"AaAIISH!!" yeonjun aggresively messed up his hair, huffing at his own thoughts.

"Good birdy. Sleep toto..." beomgyu smiled and patted yeonjuns hair, drooping his head on his chest.

Yeonjun checked the time on his phone from the bedside table. 10:33pm.

"Beomgyu, you still have a fever, you should lay properly...." yeonjun went to move and adjust him, not being much of a challenge since he was light.

Beomgyu laid nicely on the other side of the bed, facing the wall and curling up.

Yeonjun was finally comfortable, and fell asleep hoping theyd be fine by classtime tomorrow, they had hard alpha training, so he was worried.

Hueningkai woke up first, hearing a tapping noise continuously hitting. He rubbed his eyes and pulled the blankets off of him, pouting and seeing the balconey door open, and the breeze tapping it against the desk.

Soobins arm clasped around his thigh tightly, making him wince. "Ow...ow soobin? Hey its me, let go." Hueningkai uncovered soobins face to see a sweaty alpha.

"Dont- dont move." Soobin felt like he was on fire, he was dizzy, disoriented, and overall miserable.

"This-this is nothing like romantic marks in the movies-AhN!- god...dammit..." soobin really wanted to get up and get ready but he couldnt help but roll in pain.

Hueningkai looked sadly at the familiar symptoms. "Thats what i felt when i was in heat....are you on your rut?....if its the first time youve marked then- we'll both likely be miserable...." hueningkai brushed soobins hair back and worried.

"How long do mate marks-AHDK-l-last?" Soobin panted and looked to hueningkai, who had pulled out his phone to search.

"A month."

Yeonjun jolted awake, thinking someone was getting murdered in the alpha dorms.

"What in the fuck-?" He pulled the blankets off, and noticed a pair of house slippers misisng from the dorm door.

Beomgyu just went to class? How late am i??

Yeonjun checkdd the clock and discovered he was late to alpha training, he slipped on the shirt he saw and stumbled out of the dorm, bolting for class.
